I didn't say this earlier, but I'm also not really a fan of how they pulled off the operators because I just don't like the recent habit of throwing in voiced protagonists in games with heavy character customization, it's a really popular trend and I've always felt it's utterly pointless when you're supposedly holding making the character your own so highly. Like, all it does divide the player from their character further, I don't think that's a good thing.
On a more personal preference-based note I'm just not really a fan of the psychic hyper-badass child soldier deal, either. To me it feels like... A bad lionsgate film, if that makes any sense. Stuff like Harry Potter and Hunger Games, the "teen fantasy" genre of film. I myself liked the thought of either the Tenno being nothing but abstract energy based beings or alternatively just really, really messed up monstrosities under the armor.
