Ember Prime, yes or no?
I think Ember got some things changed about her within the last year or so but I can't for the life of me remember. I think she's definitely skippable if you want more useful Warframes but I can't remember.
Loki and Nova Primes are ridiculously good, though. Must-haves imo though normal Nova is still one of the better frames even without being Primed.
If you want to save yourself the effort you can just get normal Nova, which is probably much easier and still be extremely useful in any situation, especially defense.
Even with this event going on I don't think I'll get brutal tide or high noon out of it. Even if I use nekros for the event.
I already have normal Nova, I just wanted to know if I should get Nova Prime now.
Mastery, fancy helmet, golden balls, better stats.
Why not?
I was pretty sure the intent of the mod from the get-go was just to have lethal stealth finishers. Like, it was a cute idea, but ultimately gimmicky. I understand some people got to play with the bugged version and had fun with it, and now that it's fixed, they're upset that they can't slam attack with the Sheev and clear whole rooms anymore. However, yelling "DE sucks, they nerf all my fun" and "this warframe is useless now, this gun is useless now, this mod is useless now" is childish.
The Warframe forums are just cancerous to read anymore; it's just full of whiners and entitled snobs.
/rant
I don't like the official forums either, but I feel like ranting too:
This needs testing, but if Covert Lethality only works on stealth finishers now - meaning not on any other type of finishers, those prompted by Ash's teleport for example - it really is kinda useless in this case. Every melee weapon I tried already instakills on finishers anywhere on the starchart if modded for damage and many do so even far into t4 (Scindo Prime kills level 65 heavy gunners even without Radiant Finish, probably even further but this is as far as I can test in simulncarum). The only situation where a mod like Covert Lethality would be useful is in super long endless missions - where enemies get too tough to oneshot with "normal", unmodded finishers. However, stealth doesn't exist in these missions as everything spawns alerted - meaning the "lethal" part of the mod is out (leaving you with 100% extra damage, which sadly doesn't make daggers any more viable). Also, as Crimor said, many enemies cannot be finished as they don't have animations for it.
My argument hangs on a big "if" though, I can't check this myself cause despite farming for 4 days, I didn't manage to get Covert Lethality. Tbh I somehow doubt DE's sleek coding can tell a difference between finishers :vs: One way or another, this mod was a silly gimmick from the beginning and I doubt anyone would have cared for it at all if it didn't work with Exalted Blade and air slams (which was indeed dumb).
Ember Prime, yes or no?
Loki Prime, yes or no?
And finally, Nova Prime, yes or no?
Embers Prime, meh
Loki Prime, Yes
Nova Prime, Yes
Ember Prime is great if you like feeling useful up until level 50 enemies come in that arent infested
you can still push by though
In other news, has anyone else had problems with blast procs and knockdowns lately? The harpak's alt fire only works rarely, and when I decided to try Neutron Star out it would proc (blast icon on the damage) but fail to knockdown (making the augment pretty much useless).

DE's comment is that they have a possible fix, but everyone ran away because it was Friday and they don't want to risk pushing it out until everyone's back in next week to look it over.
FUCK THE RAID

We did raid for 2 hours just to get greeted by door that doesn't open.
Maybe the journey and experience was the reward. :downs:

Go Mesa with max power strength and enjoy 95% dmg reduction, you can literally walk through like 20 guys shooting you.

I've never been able to beat the 2nd part of the raid becuase something always glitches up and won't let us proceed.
Raid is an emotional rollercoaster it has passion, drama, buggy shit. You name it, it's there.
Raid with random people is like committing suicide with plastic scissors. Tried it few times then gave up and just bought the max arcane awakening later.
I've made quite a fortune on credits with raids, you can tell the party knows what they're all doing when they have the proper frame setup. Sadly its quite rare that someone actually hosts a raid and recruits people from recruiting channel.
Just FYI, the door not opening on the final part happens if you rad proc Hek at any point while he's invulnerable. Like Lech Kril and Jackal, it freezes up his AI and he controls which door opens. They fixed Jackal and Lech Kril but Hek is a lot harder to get to, so you don't have a ton of players covering reddit's front page in "look what I did, guys!"
I never bothered to do Raid. It's just half baked cookie.
Hey guys, so I kinda went out and bought a new laptop on credit.
It's a beast and Warframe looks god damn gorgeous! Full HD and all settings max'd, I'm getting 75fps.
is anyone else having serious issues getting even the launcher to start up?
is anyone else having serious issues getting even the launcher to start up?
Here we go again.
Please try one of these methods:
1. Verify Files
2. Open launcher from Warframe folder
3. Reinstall Warframe
i've just done all three of those. the launcher hangs on startup. all i get is the process in task manager
While I wouldn't say it's half baked, I would say that it went completely in the wrong direction.
So it's not even that good for 100k credits for BP and then crafting the key itself?
Where is this "Raid" you speak of?
"Raid" is just a nice shortening for "Trials of Retribution."
Also, should I even DARE try to actually farm Hydroid?
Pointless. Hek earths battle takes like 5-8 minutes.
"Raid" is just a nice shortening for "Trials of Retribution."

semi-right
we call them raids, game calls them trials, and the law of retribution is the first and so far only

Since Pilfering Swarm got nerfed, he's really not worth the effort.
A damn shame, but hey, we were having fun for a second there, DE can't let that happen.

Having an OP farming method being the only good thing about a frame is not healthy. And he's still not the worst frame in the game. Hydroid needs a rework that's all. Then again he's not the only one needing a rework...
