That's so broken, I love it
And you don't even need a tipedo to do that. I love this update.
Incubator research needs 6 more Tellerium, if you've got any to spare get in there and do your part
only four now.
I'm a little pissed. I've spent over 2 million credits transmuting mods trying to get Firewalker. I now have Lightning Dash, Ice Spring, and Toxic Flight, but not Firewalker.
I'm under impression that asides from creating Equinox and Parkour 2.0 they didn't have a lot of things for the update. There are a bunch of good changes to shotguns, Prime frame health/armour adjustments, Frost changes(including his globe not having a timer anymore), 5 new weapons as usual, Kubrow incubator upgrade - all this is good and I'm more than happy with that, enjoying the update so far. But the arch wing transition is bugged and I'm impressed they didn't test it as much as I thought they would since it was shown to us. It's a nice addition but it's Archwing so it's not too great. Realistically this update doesn't have as much content as it has small changes to the game here and there(Parkout 2.0 is different, it's a big change), which could easily have been part of a separate update(16.5 or something like that) and this could have more actual content, or even better - existing weapon balances. tl;dr this update is ok
Excuse me, I now have two Ice Spring. Holy shit.
Excuse me, I now have two Ice Spring. Holy shit.
I want one :3 brb, gonna go transmuting. If I happen to get a Fire Walker then we'll trade :D
I'm a little pissed. I've spent over 2 million credits transmuting mods trying to get Firewalker. I now have Lightning Dash, Ice Spring, and Toxic Flight, but not Firewalker.
I have Firewalker. I'm gonna try to sell it.
I have Firewalker. I'm gonna try to sell it.
For how much? Would you be willing to accept a different mobility mod for it?
For how much? Would you be willing to accept a different mobility mod for it?
150 P Nobody in trading chat answers anything. AGAIN.
Maybe because you are asking for too much. ...which reminds me, anybody wanna buy arcane vanguard for 700 plat? :buckteeth:
Til regor sigil on first kill, nice. [editline]1st August 2015[/editline] By the way, they added the camera thing Steve showed on his twitter, it's 10 credits and bought from the equipment tab. There's also the lotus hearth sigil for 1 credit.
So I'm currently out of state and can't play Warframe. There aren't any timed exclusive event mods or equipment or whatever that I'm going to miss, are there?
I'm a little pissed. I've spent over 2 million credits transmuting mods trying to get Firewalker. I think Tyl Regor is my favorite boss in the game by a bunch.
He's definitely the best rework they've done since he only has two invulnerability phases, and the rest of it you can just faceroll his shit
I think Tyl Regor is my favorite boss in the game by a bunch.
He actually feels a lot like an actual boss. He also has the best personality. I'd love to see more involving Tyl Regor. "What're you gonna do, jelly?"
It's amazing how much his boss fight is just Bioshock; like, you walk in and he's got a big golden statue of himself that lights up like the one of Andrew Ryan in Bioshock 1, then Tyl starts shooting out the windows like the Big Sister in the second game. I wouldn't be surprised if DE sneaked a few of the assets they used making the Bioshock 2 Multiplayer in there.
So, just about one day in to U17: I'm impressed by DE's work. The Parkour system is a lot of fun to use, everything feels more flowing and in general characters feel a lot less heavy, more like actual ninjas. Removing stamina is outright brilliant. The Tyl Regor boss fight is actually pretty good, feels like a real boss fight. The two new emplacement additions to the Grineer are cool, and hopefully we'll see them being utilized more in other tilesets and see the Corpus getting similar emplacements. As sad as the loss of coptering is, the new parkour moves help keep mobility and control. The removal of coptering has also had the great bonus that you no longer have to worry about needing to bring melee weapons based on how well they can copter, its really just a matter of taking whatever weapon you enjoy using now. Equinox seems to actually be a pretty good frame from my friend's experiences. Two Grakata is ridiculous and amazing (seriously, I believe it's the highest DPS weapon I have. It outclasses my Boltor Prime that is Forma'd multiple times over specifically for DPS, and without having been Forma'd yet itself.) The new tileset is really cool. Sharkwing is the only real let down. Overall though, a very solid update and I like it.
So, I was running a pub mission in the new tileset when I took a peek inside two of the large medical stasis pods in the center of one of the rooms... (Sorry for low quality pics, my PC's starting to show its age) It looks like Regor's "superior" Tubemen aren't all quite so strong and spastic (looking at you, Manic). These two seem to be mutated to the point of basically being non-human (or Grineer). I also didn't notice at first that the medical "robot" inside the pod was actually a Grineer similar to Vay Hek.
The WF servers appear to have pooped for the moment. Edit: They're back!
Servers are unpooped now

My biggest problem with Warframe right now is just how much it chugs in certain parts. It's worse in summer since it gets so hot in my room and my laptop ignites anytime I'm playing and it drops to 20 fps. When it's all cool and I'm in the Liset I get a nice silky smooth 60, but when anything happens that I actually need a good framerate I just don't get it. I have all the settings on minimum and I'm running on the smallest resolution. Any ideas?
I'd actually say its one of their better big updates.
Mainly because it's a big update to a central gameplay mechanic, and not just some big dumb one time event where a new character is introduced by playing the same mission over and over again for points until you're sick of hearing all their lines.
Holy shiiit Equinox is amazing.
Holy shiiit Equinox is amazing.
He/she/it has my favorite alternate helmet released thus far. I'm not too familiar with the powers yet but I feel like it can be a beastly support frame.
Steve mentioned adding less RNG-related items in the game. The new quest is completely RNG based :v: Good job DE.
