I said this in clan chat, I want to get into making Tennogen stuff since I have some skills but the ~community voting~ aspect always irks the shit out of me. This is mostly because overall people generally vote for the most boring shit ever I don't want to spend ages making something then it doesn't go anywhere. Whereas captain original idea makes generic red tiger skin #2022 and it gets in instantly.

It's a Corpus mass-produced recreation of an Orokin era gun, which is why Braton Prime exists. Since the other starter weapons are Tenno mass-produced recreations of Orokin era weaponry, so it's not that far fetched.

They said they won't take that away, they will be removing the chance of getting exp for maxed items though.
Why do some players put Split Chamber on Tonkor, Vectis and other such slow firing weapons? On Fast firing weapons I can understand, but with these, that 10% chance to not do double damage can kill you. Which is why I refrain from using it in favor of a Hammer Shot.

Unless you have 100%+ crit chance you're just taking the same gamble with Hammer Shot.

On my Stronkor build I've managed to get my multishot to the point where I'm nearly consistently putting out two grenades, along with an extremely high crit-rate. With almost every shot putting out two grenades, which crit for loads of damage, I'm effectively doubling my DPS.

Yeah, but still 90% of the time is pretty much all the time in this. With this build I genuinely haven't seen a non-crit. Granted, it's also a WIP and there's always room for improvement, but I feel the multishot route is better.
