Kinda wish DE would not meddle with everything. But i've not exactly had much luck with getting, say Orokin cells with swarm. Might had just been looking at the wrong place though. God damn it. Edit: Same with oxium. Again, might not be looking at the right place but those drones feel few and far between.
Try Larissa, Neptune for Oxium. I get 700-1000 per run there.
why the fuck bother "nerf" something for a PvE game
why the fuck bother "nerf" something for a PvE game
Because if one thing is too powerful it can make other things not worth using. Pilfering Swarm was not too powerful. Desecrate was the only other ability that had a similar role, and they didn't conflict with eachother in any way. This was the only thing that Hydroid was good at, but I guess Hydroid being useful is against the rules. RIP
there seriously needs to be tiers of weapons, its really lame having all weapons being balanced to be viable even if its just superficial (braton mk1 > 2 > 3 with varying visual upgrades per crafting) it would give you something to work torwards
Prime/Prisma/Vandal/Wraith. They're not quite distinct within those though, though usually Prime is the top tier.
I don't mind the nerf at all. At least they are changing it so that you don't have to kill the enemies with the tentacles.
i think horizontal balancing is best for the long-term health of Warframe but I know it'll never happen because it'd mean a fairly large shakeup of weapon balancing (and probably mechanics, since most guns of a type tend to be too similar)
The drop rates from the Pilfering Swarm Augment Mod will no longer be affected by Power Strength. Mag’s Greedy Pull Augment Mod will no longer pull Syndicate Medallions.
They shoved Hydroid and Mag deep into the trash as possible.
I wish stealth kill animations were a bit more simple. Now most of them are just redundantly complex and fancy that once you finish your move, you'll touch the guy standing next to your target. For now my favourite stealth kill moves are from the Brawler and Dagger weapons. Simple, not a lot of movement and fast.

When I intend to stealth, I just bring Glaive Prime. Throw it in to a filled room, detonate it, walk in to empty room.
When I intend to stealth, I just bring Glaive Prime. I think it got nerfed or something recently, though.

Jab their legs out from behind them, down comes the hammer on their head.
They showed Hydroid and Mag deep into the trash as possible.
Why do they always nerf the support frames that make the game less grindy, but never bother nerfing the "press 4 to kill everything" frames? Why did they even create the augment system if you are just going to nerf them into uselessness?

Glaive is better though because, if power throw is installed, it will go through the bubble of nullifiers.
Eeh, what's the fuss? Pilfering Swarm is far from useless after the nerf. Also Greedy Pull works still the same for the Mag players. There are far worse augments in the game and these two are actually pretty good.

That's IT. Before, with good strength mods you could force enemy to drop +4 items including rare resource. Right now Hydroid is on the same level as Nekros.
Basically you can't really Draco/T3/T4 Defense/Survival anymore.
The nerf is dumb but I don't think having to walk around to get some stuff is the end of the world.
So in other words they nerfed easy/braindead farming methods and everyone is losing their minds? It's not that bad really. You can easily just play the nodes without having the optimal "macro" farming.
Fuck man, I just shoot guys while also in the air
My main beef with the nerfs is that without those augments, Mag and Hydroid are utterly useless when it comes to farming. The augments allowed them to be useful without having to relay upon killing everything with 4, yet they were nerfed into uselessness. While frames that do rely upon killing everything with 4 aren't ever nerfed into uselessness.
So in other words they nerfed easy/braindead farming methods
People are angry because DE said they want to "reduce grind" and yet they nerf farming methods- it's hypocrisy. Also, Hydroid is in a sorry state and Pilfering Swarm was the only reason he was used by the majority of players. I never liked how he plays, he's one of these frames which are in a dire need of a second look.

His 1 is a lamer version of his ultimate that can get stuck shooting at the enviroment, his 2 is Excalibur's Slash Dash before it was buffed, and his 3 is kinda neat but requires you to be frozen, which leaves it underutilized in a whole bunch of gamemodes.
I think Pilfering Swarm is still alright. That's 100% more loot and you don't even have to kill the targets anymore. Not to mention if you combine it with good slash weapons and a Nekros. At least now you don't have to be building that 400% power strength and kill steal everything. What the hell are you guys grinding if you really need that 80 Orokin Cells per one run? These changes sound more like fixing "easily exploitable" farming methods.

How's Equinox btw?
How's Equinox btw?
i guess you could say Equinox is sorta like Oberon where they fill alot of shoes can heal, can crowd control, can AoE damage, buff teammates and debuffs enemies
I remember a session where I was doing an Invasion mission, some dude ran in the middle of a group of 20 or so, did an animation, and the entire crowd evaporated into nothing. Everyone else didn't even need to pull the trigger, I just ran past everything. I think it was the Saryn frame, I could be wrong.

Wow, Parkour 2.0 is great. The game is fun for me again.
The tweaked Pilfering Swarm nerfs early game where enemies instantly die on ability cast. But in late game where enemies do not die as easily, it is much more efficient. It allows everyone to kill late game enemies instead of waiting, which makes enemy spawners do work instead of sleeping most of the time. Its not simply reducing loot gained from PS from x4 to x2, you need to take account of TTK and LH as well.
