This is great for me since Ignis was one of my favourite weapons for a time, and I tossed a ton of forma on it.
Also didn't it have punchthrough already? Or was it planned for a long ass time?
wait i checked and apparently ignis got 17 more heat damage, now up to 27.
also its base proc chance is 25%

Once these are built, I will have every Prime Warframe (except Excal Prime, that doesn't count) in the game.
So what'd be more effective?
Using both chesa imprints and hoping I get the build/height I want.

Using a chesa imprint with an imprint of a kubrow that has the build/height that I want and hoping I get a chesa?
This game is fun to play, and I see potential in it. The massive grind for everything is a bit of a turn off though and I feel like there's so many different things to upgrade that I don't know what to work on first.
Any basic tips for someone about 15 hours in and not sure what direction to go?

excal prime does count and i think it's been long enough for DE to release it to the public.

Unlock all the planets first. Do questlines if you can, although some of the older later ones can be hard to get groups for. Some can be done solo.
Start grabbing weapons from the market to try out. Level them to 30. Dump them if you don't like them or keep them if you do. Same with frames, although those can be harder to get because of random drops and locations.

i think 3 years is well above standards for what most would consider a "timed exclusive", keeping it this way eternally makes zero sense.
they got emblems and sigils and a whole bunch of other shit to let people know they spent $50 on a f2p game.

The thing is Excal Prime never was a "timed exclusive" it was just an "exclusive", I know they've occasionally re-released previous exclusives but I'm kinda glad DE have always stuck to their guns when it came to Excal Prime. Makes it even more unique for those who shelled out $50 when DE needed the money (apparently)
I just junked my excalibur prime after a while. AFAIK I only have the lato left on my old account. The prime equipment just kept getting me crap online.
