i thought this mod was going to have its own Gordon model since Kwant was modelling the HEV suit?
Why do you even need a Gordon model? The game is in first person.

I was lurking through these threads for quite a while now and get excited for every update that would make the mod progress forward above 0%. I have to say I am impressed with what you all did and I wish I could help out if only I could magically have modeling and texturing powers. Keep up the good work and hopefully we could tell you contributers to do it all over again for critic.

Hey look, the thread's becomeing a re-hash of 10 pages ago! Enough with the "use this Gordon model" talk, we're making our own....eventually. On another note, I hate non-motivation ditches, they are hard to get out of :| Sooo yeah, hopefully I can actually get crap done tomorrow on this. Semi-expect something tomorrow to pop up on here from me, or the next day. :v: It seems like we just can't get everyone coordinated and empowered to work on sections of the game, we started out pretty strong on the train station for a few days then everyone just kinda dropped off and posted stuff every few weeks or so.

Yes there will be suggestions that come up again, because there is a lot to discuss, it is hard to appeal to everyone so discussing will allow everyone to put their input in so the devs can see what the majority want. This thread is meant to discuss the enhancement mod, so suggestions should be welcome if we want to make sure we can get the nicest looking mod possible with the work and time the devs are willing to put into this project. If the devs want us to go on a different subject, one that is more worth the (current) time, then they should put up a new topic to discuss so they can see our input, or put up some new work for us to criticise. Subjects should be fleshed out as much as possible to see what people want, or stopped by the devs like Corgi just did by telling us they have other plans.

Water has always been reflective based on the material and if they wanted to make a brush based mirror its just a func_reflective_glass with a mirror sheyder texture on it. And if you mean having the players reflection reflect on those things then all it takes is rendering the players model which has like 5 tutorials on valves dev wiki.

Maybe this is unrealistic to ask for at this point, but it's a holiday so I'm in a hopeful mood. Any chance we can get a video tour of the town square area? Even if it's far from finished, I'm sure everyone would like to see some on-game footage of the enhancements
