Black Mesa is a little over 14gb, that should be a decent benchmark estimate I suppose. Both mods are standalone and include maps, NPC's, models, and textures. I'd say 10gb max. Again, this is just my estimate and has no bearing in reality besides being my personal non-affiliated estimate.

I kinda wish people wouldn't harp on that bit so much. The point of that demo was to show off that their particle system had integrated AI. imo, that's pretty cool regardless of the implementation.

I think I'll, for the first time in my whole life, listen to this 'don't do it' advice.
Have you thought of adding those echo / speaker effects in the orignal xbox version into the mod? (Breen's voice has a echo to it and Eli's voice through the tv in the teleporter room makes it sound like its from a tv / speakers)

I could turn them into skyboxes for the mod or so.
