Well honestly I think it suits well, the weapon is supposed to be a heavy weapon in comparison to the SMG I think the sounds are nice too sounds alot more powerful but still sounds familiar which is nice the animations are good too I like how its hard to see the hand while idle which is pretty true to the original without him one handing it, I also like the new reload alot. Its the best custom interpretation of the gun ive seen and the only thing I would change is add a 3 pronged particle effect to the muzzle also reduce the effect a bit so it doesnt get in the way, that is literally my only complaint otherwise I think the entire pack (which is supposed to be a re-envisioning of the hl2 weapons not a fucking clone of them) is coming out really damn nice.

I did try to get him on the team a few times over the course of a year, but he didn't seem to be too interested in doing models for it.

Also as for the reload, I feel like you should hold the right with your left hand, and grab the magazine by the middle - top and remove it.

That could work if each pellet could be used 30 times like in the original.
as an alternative to a detachable magazines, the AR2 could use stripper clips. or maybe ammo belts that get pulled into the magazine via magnets.

I spoke to mr brightside and he´d actually like to join us, I asked him if he could do player and npc animations as we´ll have full body awareness for first person, he said he could try it out, with some guidance, he could make the anims we want. He´ll be gone for some time for vacations though, but he will talk to us when he comes back Teh snake also found the proposal to make models for us interesting, with the project being greenlit on steam, but hasn´t agreed yet, hopefully, he will.
