a. Add Aiming down Sights (Iron Sights). Maybe you will make it optional. You can enable and disable it in the options menu.

c. Make gordon can only hold 3 weapons +1 Crowbar+Grenades to make the gameplay more interesting. The rest? Put them like in a backpack. You should switch some weapons in one of the 3 slots first to use the weapon. Press [M] or [Tab] for inventory
c. For the crowbar? Press [c] or [v] to quick attack. Hold [c] or [v] to deploy(hold) the crowbar. For the grenade? press [g] to quick throw and hold [g] to hold the grenade.

Most of those changes will not improve Half Life 2's shallow gameplay

1. -the contents of this part pretty much go against all of what HL2's gunplay is. I personally like Iron sights a lot, but that doesn't mean I'd add them to HL2 because that would change the gameplay/gunplay far too much. Same goes for the crowbar. The "button pressing" to change firemode is useless as to use alternate fire you just have to hit mouse 2 by default.
2. -Better impact effects are done already. HUD - no, we want to make it as similar to HL2 as possible, while making a few adjustments, nothing that big (personally I think the bowed HUDs look ugly as well). For the AI, they do have some cover functions, but from my knowledge anything more advanced than what we have right now using the alien swarm AI would require us to turn all of the enemy AI into BOTs. It's a do-able process but it would take a while.
As for Source 2, if it comes out in the next few years we might consider using it, but it will depend on how easy it would be to switch to it, and the supported extent of the modding tools upon release.

for point 1. Can you make the Iron Sights Optional? Just like in Black Mesa Mod. You can choose wether you can use the original gameplay or you can use the "more mainstream" gameplay
That's a lot of work for something no one of note will use.
Personally, I'd want to see them go all out with a crowbar and make it control like the katana in the new Shadow Warrior. I know that's not gonna happen tho.

Well, sorry about that. I'm just optimistic about this mod's success because i haven't play Half-life 2 and the episodes because Im waiting for Half Life 3. I would play Half Life2's and then directly to Half life 3 so I could understand more about this franchise. Thats why i like this mod because i can play Half life 2 with a better graphics but still have original texture. Well, i'm sorry for the suggestions. Sincerely

I've got two things to say about it.
Firstly, the screen looks way flatter and even worse than the previous version, simply because there's no vignette and the gradient is entirely different. Though, I doubt it'll be that noticeable in the game. Secondly, don't the buttons seem to concave a bit? The numbers also look a bit too clean.
Other than that, it looks great.

but think about it like in portal 2 where [sp]the ending scenes[/sp] had the full body animated, and I personally loved that, but again like you I didn't really care that normally you couldn't look down and not see your feet. But I think if it is done right it will be really cool and it should not intrude on the player at all. I am all for it. Really the only reason why people shouldn't want it to be done would be because of how difficult it would be to pull off.

The problem is that it's hard to introduce a fullbody awareness without severe issues in gameplay conditions.
