Sprint meter is there to slow down the gunplay, so blitzing enemies is less frequent.
I thought Half-Life 1 had spookier atmosphere than HL2, and it was faster paced than its successor.

Tau Canon though = Maybe (as a "secret")
To be fair though, the Tau is already in the game, it's just not a player-usable weapon except when you're driving the buggy.

Be kinda cool if it did damage to gunships and stuff if you did add it as a player-usable weapon.

My mistake, I once read from one of the old threads that you guys were gonna possibly add the Hivehand, Tau, AR1, and Gluon Gun back, with balanced stats and stuff. Sorry about that.
I'm also pretty sure you are aware about the cut dialogue and event for when you parked the Jeep in the garage, a Vortigaunt was there to detach the Tau Cannon from it, and give it to you.

Was it ever decided upon that picking up cinder blocks and throwing them at enemies would actually do something instead of bouncing off and leaving them to carry on about their day without a care in the world?
Also, honestly, is it just me or does the punishment you get from throwing shit at metrocops seem really, really tame for the setting we're in? The world's fucking enslaved and people are getting beat-downs on suspicion of having cheese or some shit, but if I throw a milk crate at a guard I just get zapped a little?

Will you guys be making battles larger? Like the Strider battles, the defense of Lighthouse Point, etc.
I've found that Source can easily handle around 30+ active NPCs with minimal lag, at least for me.
I'm not asking for unnecessary amounts of NPCs, just a little bit more to make it seem like an actual battle/war is going on. Looking down from the Nexus building rooftops and seeing around 4 Combine and rebels quickly killing each other off is a pretty jarring experience when you've just blasted through 10x that amount of soldiers by yourself.

Probably not. There really isn't much of a point to adding burst-fire.
