We're also going about completely redesigning how we do things because we really didn't think it through very well before, and now we want to do it right. Aka why not much content has recently been done or shown. The new work systems we're planning out will, hopefully, get the ball finally moving again once they're finalized and put into action. In the meantime, I would ask that any coders that feel they're up to the job for working on this mod, please do not hesitate to post in the Application Area: [url]http://hl2em.com/forums/index.php/board,43.0.html[/url] What we ask is no easy task as we would need someone able to do a complete port of HL2 to the Alien Swarm engine, as well as extensive Source knowledge to do any other coding tasks we might need in the future. Good examples are coding new weapons, implementing new NPCs, fixing ASW's deferred lighting, and more.

Oh that's awful, he seemed pretty nice and trustworthy too... I know he had his own project but just packing up and leaving and taking all his work with him is really awful. I'm sure he has his reasons, but that is an extreme setback.

Well, I think I need to clarify something here. First, about Greenlight(or Steamworks). I did give full control, including publishing app changes, editing store/app data and even generating CD-Keys to Porky, Glitchvid, Rachet and Pinecleandog [B]a month ago[/B]. Check that out if you don't believe. Second, before I leave the team, I did told Glitchvid about how to upload changes to steam. In addition, I gave him a link to a fully documented help about how to use SteamPipe, by Valve. [/QUOTE] Also true, although at the time I had stated that you should give Porky the guidance, since I don't know who Porky is going to hand the programming side off to. The documentation is also a easily found page that I linked corgi just now, communication is the issue. The steamworks project is technically owned by your account, which means you're the sole "Administrator" of it, that's what Porky was referring to.

I wouldn't mind those cars being added alongside HL2's though, as long as they're not taken from another game or something.
