Played my first Techies game in Least Played.
Unfortunately the enemy team had a Doom, Pudge, and CK that just tanked all my explosions and their Skywrath and Drow never even got close to my land mines.
It was nice terrorizing the jungling Doom though.

Played Necrophos because why not? Ended up going mid (odd choice but it worked and it got me an early Mek) and it was going well.
...until our Weaver early on called us retarded for things we didn't do, such as call missing (which I did and helped Techies secure a kill against PA, but didn't a second time because illusions came by and I didn't know she left mid) or Treant using an ult at the time he wanted, so he ended up jungling all game. All the teamfights were 4v5 and he never really left top lane.
He called us retarded and noobs not knowing what to do in a pub game. Maybe I didn't know but he was really pissy about our Treant right from the start.
Necro Mid makes the most sense imo. He needs levels and farm, can't do that on safelane because it means you don't have a carry and offlane means you're duolaning which is also kinda meh with Necro.

Everything was pretty easy until around 30-40 minutes when spectre picked up a gem and had zues and undying body guarding her.
Oh well, the EXP graph was insanely in our favor for the entire game. The Natures on their team was complaining that we picked all the BS heroes when they had three global ultimates :v:

Pretty good considering enemies had Zeus (really nasty vs. BH at times), Spectre, Furion and stuff.. And you didn't even have BKB, just damage and some extra stats through SnY.
But then again BH seems to stomp more easily in slightly lower brackets, trust me I can relate to that.. :v:

His damaging skills also always push the lane and he's one of like 3 heroes that gets a direct benefit from denying which is a huge part of playing mid anyway. The only thing probably holding him back from actually being picked as a mid is his poor last hitting ability and awful move speed.

I'm not entirely sure what possesses a team to pick those 4 heroes (random draft) after I've picked Rubick but I will say that losing after that is nothing short of deserved.

you're going for a different kind of tiny altogether
blink arcanes/phase is for positioning for quick nuking
this build is for getting your items to be able to take towers quickly/manfight even early game when you can only use your combo once (maybe twice with your build)
I play both kinds i choose which one to play during the game, generally nuker build is for mid, tthis greedy farming build for safelane.

Treads may be slower than phase but if you're saying tiny moves too slow that's ridiculous
his ult literally gives him free movement speed
or are you one of those people who wait until aghs to upgrade ult to look funny
with drums treads and level 6 you have ~388 movespeed, if you go into a yasha(manta) and/or a mask of madness (which people still get on phasebuilds) you'll be hitting close to 522 if not already.

I finished my heart so fast. It was a vanguard and a heart within 18min, that was ridiculous. Got my BoT not long after and was about to pick up a force staff. That game was hilarious.

triple mjollnir is actually pretty good (that 90 minute match was against a spectre too). what started as a joke build has become a bit of a game winner. it's hilarious watching people thinking "i can manfight a sniper!" then getting instagibbed in the 450 magic damage per second hailstorm. plus it makes you farm like a fucking madman

First time in a pvp match as him, had to go mid because I have no idea
Denied ranged creeps and threw the eidolons at Bloodseeker so he couldn't get any last hits, probably not the best idea but it worked
One ult I landed saved me and CM from the brink of death, as well as a triple kill with Freezing Field; right after that one I caught 4 out of 5 and Tiny and Riki cleaned up
This is probably the first and only lucky match I will ever have

Triple Maelstrom into triple Mjollnir is actually fucking godlike, your farm goes through the roof and you kill shit insanely fast.
Fuck it, just 3 Mjollnir's and 3 MKB's.
