i think getting an early rapier as medusa is pretty reasonable, but first item seems excessive

triple mjollnir is actually pretty good (that 90 minute match was against a spectre too). what started as a joke build has become a bit of a game winner. it's hilarious watching people thinking "i can manfight a sniper!" then getting instagibbed in the 450 magic damage per second hailstorm. plus it makes you farm like a fucking madman[/QUOTE]

This was a very fun match.
In what was my first real match against Techies (I only play at the most once or twice a day) The enemy Techies went mid and managed to never die to our Pudge, then after getting a good level advantage strolled to the top lane and just straight-up suicided on me.
I was an Omniknight with a Ring of Basilius. I survived with about 60 health.
One of the hardest laughs I've had while playing Dota. At least he got like two last hits on nearby creeps.
I've won 2 ranked matches with Techies so far (3-1 lifetime stats I think)
Last game there was 4,5k mmr Luna and Timber too so it was a challenge.
Luna was over-farmed too because people left me solo off-lane against her, WTF?
I did get her with Suicide blast early, and with Remotes later as she was pushing, but it didn't stop her insane farm.

Also I fucking LOVE to plant Remote mines on lanes, a good distance [I]away[/I] from the tower that I wish to defend.
This way enemies don't expect the boom to be so soon, and they think it's safe.

If you have at the very least a BKB before hand it can work, but when you're just holding a rapier with mana shield as your only survivability against a Mirana you're just asking for an arrow
Imo getting a Rapier earlier than your 6th slot item is retarded, but if you're balling like a madman I suppose it can work.

Oh yes, Basher Sniper is totally legit with enough attack speed.
In fact, I convinced some random player to build Mjollnir-Basher-MoM [I]or so[/I], and he fell in love with it immediately.
Better yet, we met in next game as well and he repeated this Sniper build, and we won again. :v:

I remember the first time I encountered OD, when he was added to Dota 2. I called him the "Noisemaker", as his ult seemed like doing nothing, and was always imprisioning. Noises everywhere, but getting wreck.

we were getting completely crushed at the start, so much so that I sold my point booster to build towards a Dagon at about 35 minutes (when I thought we were about to lose.) anyway we somehow held on and eventually started winning fights, even though their team outcarried us pretty hard. at the very end they got megacreeps but got teamwiped as a result, so we just pushed to win.

I've never really played Silencer before, and now I have no idea why. Also, the enemy team insta-picked their heroes, so it was pretty much over before it began.
Phoenix, Pugna, Enigga, Treant and Sniper? Sheesh Silencer will dick all over that lineup without any problems. :v:

Enigma got only a single black hole off, and that's because my ult was already down. He died less than 2 seconds later because he only caught one of us in it.
I had a pretty decent AD game yesterday, without going some lame combo I got 32/6/8 as Sven with Hunter in the Night, Flesh Heap, Cleave (don't ask why, wasn't any disables or other attack steroids left) and God's Strength. My friends were calling my hero total trash etc etc, and in the end I stomped.

Picking Silencer against Enigma is one of the biggest dick moves you can do in DOTA, at least if it's all pick.
