Exactly. Slark benefits from a LOT of different items. Blink, Shadow Blade, BKB, Diffusal, Orchid, S&Y, Butterfly, Skadi, Abyssal. All have their own up- and downsides but Orchid is one that is REALLY underrated in my opinion.
I think that slark needs mana regen a bit more than some other carries. I guess orchid should help with that.
orchid is sick because it means you never ever have to go to base
Until some dumbass gets the courier killed.
i usually go linkens or orchid depending if i need to be more defensive or more offensive just because mana regen is so good on the hero
just get a bloodstone
just get a bloodstone
i agree
according to the infallible source of information that is dotabuff, it is the 6th best slark item
i agree
Nah I don't know, I'm getting mixed results.
why on earth would you buy aghs on slark anyway?
why on earth would you buy aghs on slark anyway?
To go with that dagon, obviously.
why on earth would you buy aghs on slark anyway?
to upgrade your ultimate, DUH
http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1089021135 One of the best games I've had in a while. It was so close in the early game I thought this was lost for sure. However everyone was very cooperative and very reactive during the whole game. We took the right decisions at the right time, didn't give the enemy a single moment to breath and every time they'd try to push we'd shit on them with some earthshaker/elder/sandking wombo-combo. Then we'd push their lanes after winning a fight.
This was my first game playing techies. We lost in the end, but the game was a lot of fun, although for some reason towards the end of the match I started shaking(think this happens for me when games get intense). Can anyone tell me what I did right wrong, and also what I could do better? Dotabuff match link.
Yesterday I told myself why the hell I wasn't willing to play Enigma. Therefore, I picked him during a ranked match and HOLY SHIT: It did help that the other team kept trying to gang up on either Pudge or Disruptor, providing me the perfect set up for my ulti, but still ...
Solo off-lane (instead we had a NS/WD/Abaddon trilane, don't ask) against Riki and Centaur. Still got Bfury at 17 minutes.
http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1091851408 Gatta love it when Kunkka steals mid then flames everyone because they are doing poorly. Sir you have no right to complain speaking you're stealing my farm.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/CE8lodI.png?1[/thumb] I put my team on my back, but it wasn't enough. I was the Void. I really don't know what I could've done better. I itemized against the Doom appropriately, I saved for buyback... I guess I could've (should've?) gone BKB, but Doom pierces it and so does SD's purge, not to even mention hook. That was an extremely frustrating game of Dota. 35 minute Linkens on the Weaver too, not to even mention Mirana's and Rubick's death counts. The Rubick kept flaming everyone for being "bad", and that didn't help team morale. He also never stole an ult. Just frustrated after playing a game that I felt was a 6 or 7 vs 3 or 4, I almost brought it back but in the end my team couldn't pull through. Sad.

One on your bear, one on you. Suddenly, when someone tries to gank you, immediate 1600 damage.

http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1092191003 Look at this match, i dont know what ive could have done, my friends weren't playing seriously until we were 2 rax down, at that point i was pissed and just denied our last rax.
Looks like I finally found out how to be effective on ember spirit, desolator > daedalus and then battle fury, seeing axe get his hp "axed" to almost nothing in an instant is just epic. http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1091396920
kunkka is a mid hero though
over invoker?
over invoker?
Invoker can be also played in safelane as farming Invoker. However people prefer him as mid role.
Invoker can be also played in safelane as farming Invoker. However people prefer him as mid role.
can be, but i dont see a world where kunkka (skipping xmarks til 10 no less) is a more favorable mid [editline]15th December 2014[/editline] i suppose invoker could probably offlane better than a kunkka but id still say kunkka has more versatility in sidelane

http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1091396920
Keep in mind that Desolator will not amplify the cleave damage(of anything) as cleave damage is only reduced or increased based on armor type or damage block not armor value(of the person being attacked or the person being affected by the cleave). However it will still quickly apply -7 armour to the enemy team (with sleight of fist) which will help your allies.
I just got to go carry Shaker, and despite everything seeming lost we actually managed to win. It was so fucking awesome: http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/1100252755
