You still have yet to share what your issue is Matt, perhaps we can help get your game up and running.
.
already did, my launcher crashes on startup. Tried every fix i could find or think of with the exception of switching to integrated graphics for startup, which my PC doesn't have. That includes admin mode, trying playgta.exe instead of gta.exe, shuffling around the .exes, updating drivers, unplugging gamepads and other similar peripherals, using the rockstar launcher instead of steam, trying older drivers, the latest drivers, updating libraries, killing my antivirus, (my user account uses normal characters) and of course turning it off and on again, a few times, all in various combinations and a few other random bs fixes like trying to get rid of any potential conflicting software or overlays like fraps or the steam overlay itself and launching through the nvidia experience thing. I havent been at my desktop since earlier though, which is why im posting here in the first place. Hoping it's fixed by the time i get back, your welcome to make suggestions though.

In context with what i just posted this is hilarious. Someone who says there are no unfixable problems and claims there to be no key issue claiming ignorance. Im sure you and your cries of butthurt are very appreciated by rockstar.
You're really bent on swerving everyone into thinking it's a bad port, huh.
Download it from mega. It's what i'm doing after i wasted my whole afternoon trying to download it from there. R* Social club is just pure shit
Wait. Can you elaborate on this please?
Cause R* are giving me a download speed of barely 100kb/s out of my max 14mb/s :suicide:
I have a 970 and I can't get past 9 fps when driving in a 720p window at minimum settings.
Sounds like a CPU issue.
I had the same problem today, here are some links with instructions that I followed:
https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/communities/public/questions/203280768--Failed-zlib-call-Please-reboot-or-reinstall-the-game-PC?page=5

Essentially. Scan all the .rpf files with an MD5 cryptographer. Compare them to the hashes in the links. If they don't match delete them. When you've checked every .rpf file, launch the game and the client will automatically download the missing .rpf files.
I only had to redownload 3 GB using this method, and now it works perfectly!
I used this one
http://download.cnet.com/MD5-SHA-Checksum-Utility/3000-2092_4-10911445.html
Edit: If you have a Steam version you could try to verify the files via Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game cache...
I don't know if it works, might be worth a shot.
Would verifying the integrity of the game cache work too? Started it some time ago and it's 50% done.
https://mega.co.nz/#F!hspEzCSR!fK6EWnRf4wcGS_xCXpOYaw
Is this confirmed to work? Considering that my internet isn't that good to begin with I don't wanna waste another few hours on a 'might work'.
https://mega.co.nz/#F!hspEzCSR!fK6EWnRf4wcGS_xCXpOYaw
All of those give me "Error writing file. Is your hard drive almost full?"
No it isnt. I've deleted cache, cookies etc... and nothing.
Now all the mega links give me that... Is there a download limit on there?
You're really bent on swerving everyone into thinking it's a bad port, huh.
From what i've seen it's a great port, the problems i've commented have little to do with porting, and are on are launch issues with keys and the launcher itself that prevent the playing of the game in it's entirety. Nice shitpost though.

Specs please
Does anyone have a link to the current database of self radio adverts that people were putting together?
Does everyone else have rockstar social club installed onto both the program files and the programn files (x86)?
For some reason the same folder is in both, I dont know if that is why i keep getting the social club failed login thingy
Would verifying the integrity of the game cache work too? Started it some time ago and it's 50% done.
I honestly don't know. I don't have the Steam version. Go for it though, might do the trick!
Nice shitpost though.
Christ.
Does anyone know if they reduce the amount of AI interactions online? I see a lot less people hanging around and doing shit other than just walking.
I also hope someone makes a mod to reduce pedestrian voices or add some kind of reverb to them, they sound too clear for just people walking down the street.
I got the megaupload link from here
you'll be playing it on low. i don't think the game will run bad for you but even with everything off/at the lowest, 2gb vram cards struggle playing it. rockstar says a 2gb 660ti is "reccomended" for playing it at 60 frames 1080 but the truth is just to even get textures on the highest quality the game sucks up around 3 gigs alone
Had no problems whatsoever, since I unpacked my copy a couple of hours ago. I testplayed it for about 2 hours and it runs so nicely. I have somewhat old rig as I mentioned. Of course some settings are lower than others for the sake of playability (25-32 fps is okay), but for me the visual fidelity is huge step from my PS3 version. ;D
Oh, and I have exceeded my VRAM memory from 1024 Mb to about 1500-1600 Mb, because I wanted to set some settings to higher, and it still runs fine. Crazy well-optimized work from Rockstar. Thank you R*, it wasn't a waste of money at all. ^^
Specs please
i7920, gtx 580, 12gb ram, win7 64 bit
I have GTA V installed on my rig and on my laptop.
The saves don't transfer, so when I play on my laptop I am back at the prologue.
Anyone know how I can transfer my saves and progress?
Why isn't this automatic?

Glad all this is still intact
Here is the full game on mega if you are having slow speeds from R* Social Club:

Alright, turns out I was missing 3.3GB and hopefully it works now.

okay so deleted the (x86) version and it still isnt working....
Is it just me or are the plane controls just the absolute worst? I'm finding it almost impossible to maintain control of my plane for longer than 10 seconds before I find myself going somewhere I don't want to go.
My only issue with this is that in Close Quarters, the auto-aim on controller totally outguns mouse.
I've found that using a mouse and keyboard is only viable at medium-long range.

/T?
Patch downloader is stuck at 0 bytes since hours sadly.
I'm ready for mods.
so much fucking bullshit, I just want to play a couple of hours of GTAV since im not going to be able to tomorrow at all, the game is just not wanted to load after doing literally everything I have read to "fix" it.
I'm ready for mods.
Trainer when?
[editline]14th April 2015[/editline]
Also injecting SMAA seems to work fine. I think I gained a few frames by it.
How high are you guys going above the Vram and still staying stable?
Explorer.exe randomly crashing, as does the game. Seems to happen when I use anything online.
Single player is just fine, not a single crash.
from what i can tell the social club versions flat-out won't work if you try and install to anything but your c: drive, meaning i won't be able to play it until they (if they) fix that, that really sucks
