How do you unlock animals for director mode? I ate the plant that turned me into a cat and unlocked it, but then I did the killer whale and it didn't unlock.

I'm a bit paranoid about using any kind of shader injectors. We don't know how Rockstar's PC anti-cheat works

If you transfer your save from another platform, that set of characters and progression will replace the current set.

I hope people start modding soon. The weapon sounds could really use some work. They're so weak sounding. Especially the combat handgun which I recall being powerful sounding as fuck on the 360.

Wow, they really fucked up the keyboard and mouse helicopter controls. If you play by keyboard, enjoy having the controls randomly spread across the numpad and WASD. And mouselook-control is basically unplayable.

if anyone who bought the game as the rockstar social club version is having the same problem i had with it simply showing the splash logo and closing, [url]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7749343/❤/markk/GTAVLauncher.rar[/url] place this launcher in your install folder and open it, seemed to do the trick for me

I don't know who it was who said it before, but I found the KB&M Controls quite easy on the same mission as they were playing on. I assume the helicopter controls are the same if they use WSAD and the numpad.

Is online down for anyone else?

I haven't fiddled with the Director mode much yet sans having fun with rampaging as random NPCs and playing with weather and cheats and making cheesy scenes with the video editor, but has anyone found out if there's also a way to spawn different characters and maybe even some objects aside from just playing as them? I was under the impression during when it was first announced that it'd be a big whole editor that'll allow me to set up my own scenes including spawning specific NPCs and vehicles with scripted actions and objects on various setpieces to create machinimas and stuff easier. If there isn't actually a way I hope some of the native trainers and scripting stuff come by soon like GTA IV, one of my favorite things for GTA IV was with the in-game trainers and scripting mods that pretty much allowed me to create any kind of scene I want on the fly.

So I rolled back my driver to 347.88 and my fps dropped by 30 than it was with 350.12. It was stuttering again as well so I decided to try something I read about recently... I locked the computer while in-game, unlocked and went back in to a 20 fps increase and no stuttering. Got in about 3ish more hours before another crash hit me. No blue screen again, but still a crash. the 3d3 init one again. I think that was the longest I played without a crash, so that's cool i guess

So i'm a bit fresh to GTA5 in general and after making my own self, I'm dissatisfied with it. If i make a new online character will i keep all my money / unlocked guff?

So the game runs surprisingly good maxed out at 1080p with my old 7970 graphics card, unfortunately it runs really bad at 1440p and to get it running good at that res i have to turn down the graphics so much that i'd rather play at 1080p.

After doing a "quick" defrag, I noted a decent improvement in game quality (most noticeably the absence of chunks of the world vanishing) Gonna do a full defrag now. Guess I'll watch my brother play while it does that.
