Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V4 - 3 and 1/2 Years in the Making: GTA V PC - Games

So right now, we just have to wait that the OpenIV team makes their program compatible with GTA V, then we can start modding. Am I right?

Man i cannot do shit in online, i just keep getting my ass gunned down. I can't say if its because of my lack of experience with GTA games, the lag that occurs when online, or both. Probably both.

So 3 crew members just shot me when they saw me. Back on PS3 at least crew members were safe allies...

So uh, anyone want to do a heist or two? I kinda want to experience them for the first time in mission order and shit and the only way I see that happening is with other people who want the same. Not level 12 yet though, so would need someone to set it up.

I don't know how you guys can say this is a good launch, it's a good port is what you are meant to be saying. The launch is horrible, it takes ages to download GTA5 digitally, the updates as well. Even if you went physical you still have to download the update, and since my internet is shit, I went physical to avoid downloading. It's a good port, but not a good launch. Rockstar really should have made some alternatives on downloading the updates and game.

Probably both.[/QUOTE] passive mode also, theres always easier modes + getting higher levels mean better gear in single player you could take a moment and try and practice on pedestrians and cops, to "Calibrate" your brain with the mouse also I use cheap sneaky tactics, because I'm not that good of a shooter

Did anyone else get something more eccentric than "fastest sports car you could find" for their first PV?

Well, I decided to go gamepad due to the M+KB controls for planes being ass. I kind of expected it to be, so I can't say I'm surprised. That being said, shit can be rebound, so maybe I'll try playing around with later and get a decent control layout going for it. Or maybe someone will mod it to be less ass one day. Speaking of M+KB controls, am I missing something, or is there no way to walk while in first person? You can jog and sprint from what I've seen, but you just can't walk. I know that sounds like a ridiculous thing to gripe about (it is), but there are just times where I'd like to just walk around the city and take it all in.

I modified that one pretty heavily

Is there any way to make a private single player free roam lobby WITHOUT going to single player first? Kinda annoying finishing a job and getting shoved into a public free roam split from my friends.
