I've searched quite a bit, but I'm not finding anything: has anyone been able to get their Dualshock3 to work with GTA V? I'm stuck using a gimped Cyborg Rumble (left trigger issue makes it difficult to reverse or aim+fire). Conversely, is anyone successfully using a Dualshock4? I might pick one up if it'll actually work with GTA V.

My 680gtx 4GB can max the game, pretty surprising since it's not that new anymore. The only time my FPS goes down is when I'm in the middle of a grassy field. Hardware aside, the game looks fantastic and runs great. Haven't crashed at all, no graphics glitches. I hope everyone else's is running smoothly, haven't had a lot of time to read up on if anyone is having problems
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller
That's what I'm using, but GTA V won't detect the controller.
Well my game works, tried it last night, runs at 30fps, doesn't look as good as the xbone, well atleast i don't think anyway but oh well it looks good still
Does your's CTD and or/freeze? Mine mostly just freezes and am wondering if its just me
CTD mostly. Freezes are followed up with crashes. Sometimes it CTDs normally, sometimes it crashes the whole GPU (I have GTX 970). Also I really want a mod with GTA 4's physics applied to the vehicles. Driving around feels just so bland compared how it feels like in 4. Just my personal opinion. By the way, is there any option to lower steering sensitivity? Really hard to drive "normally" with the motorcycles in 1st person when it steers like crazy even with a fast tap of a button.

Still don't have the money for the game. Can anyone tell me if the bubble in which you can place the camera in the video editor is bigger than in IV?
Long shadows confuses a lot of people. What it does is doubles the distance a shadow will cast from a small, thin or very distant object (like a bird, a telephone wire or a skyscraper) This is most noticeable in the evening

I thought it was like if a skyscraper was a few blocks away and the sun was low in the sky, the shadow from it would still be visible to you even though you are far away from it.
I remember watching a video of some guy freaking out over seeing the shadow of Mt. Chiliad cast upon the town below it. I thought it was pretty cool too considering this was on PS4.
It's unlisted, only fp has the link! [sp]Snoooooooooooooooooooo[/sp]
Don't worry, it's cool. That song is perfect for it, too.
That's what I'm using, but GTA V won't detect the controller.
That's strange, I've never had any problems with the wrapper. You sure it's not the game itself?
On it! Just for YOU! [T]http://i.imgur.com/8OkbMNo.gif[/T]
You should put it on Steam's artwork and wait for the likes to flow in.
How's the port? I'm pretty sure my system will be able to run it pretty perfectly but I'm worried that they might have pulled an Ubisoft.
How's the port? I'm pretty sure my system will be able to run it pretty perfectly but I'm worried that they might have pulled an Ubisoft.
Only played a bit past the tutorial but the game is hella optimized, ran it on high-ultra on my 760 and i5 at a steady 60fps. I haven't had any crashes yet but I know a lot of people seem to be having issues.
How's the port? I'm pretty sure my system will be able to run it pretty perfectly but I'm worried that they might have pulled an Ubisoft.
It's very well ported in my opinion, although I don't have any issues. Seems to be on a case by case basis?
[t]http://a.pomf.se/favvbn.jpg[/t] Been clearing out my garage so i don't have all the cars i used on PS3, it's time for new exciting things in here. Getting rid of most of the super cars i bought like the Adder, Cheetah, Entity XF and a few more. I guess i should get another garage too.
i'm now crying rivers because my cpu(maybe RAM too) bottlenecks so hard, that it takes 5 minutes to let the game open the interaction menu and load a chunk of the map
So I can run the game at 40-60 fps depending on the area with a GTX660 and FX8350 with settings all on high but the game becomes unplayable usually when driving through the city with fps dropping down to 10-20 and sometimes even just freezing for seconds at a time. I've been monitoring the temps and I am guessing its the problem as the CPU will start skyrocketing up to near 80c,once the throttling kicks in the temps lower back down to 50c quickly and that's when the fps drops happen. So am I right in thinking this is just a CPU cooling issue as I have ordered some new thermal paste and can of compressed air to give my PC a good clean tomorrow hoping this will sort the issue out, I just don't understand why it seems to heat the CPU up so much when something like Planetside 2 will max out at about 62c which is fine imo.
Can someone give me tips on Bicycles? Not doing well on them
How's the port? If they patch it properly it will be better than now for sure.
I don't usually buy games at launch because I know those things are going to happen. This time I made an exception and got lucky I suppose :v:
I have loads of stuttering issues but I've been to busy playing the game to actually mess with it. My 2500k often sits in the 90% use range at 3.8 GHz. And I haven't really updated to the new beta drivers for the 7870 yet.
Even at all maxed out it was saying around 3.7 gb only though. I made a point to keep it under 3.5 gb on further tests to rule that out :( Really hope it's not the CPU. Anyone else has any reports on an i7-920 or i7-860?
I've got an i7 960 and even with two GTX 570's I think my computer's only managing 30fps on normal. Sorry, but we're really paying the price for having a 5 year old CPU. I'm thinking of upgrading pretty soon - perhaps you should think of the same. Sort of related, but do you guys think that waiting for the AMD Radeon R9 390x is worth it for someone who wants to play 1080p? I'd be using an i7 5820k, so I don't think there would be a bottleneck.
I'm amazed how well it runs on my clunker. My PC is pretty nice, but it's not exactly a beast anymore, primarily because of the CPU and dated RAM/Mobo. It's got a first-gen i7 overclocked to 3.6Ghz, 8GBs of DDR3 and a EVGA GTX 770. Installed on a RAID-0 array of 4 cheapo, 70GB SSD's. Everything maxed, but V-sync turned off. I get about 50-60 FPS on average, though with an occasional dip into the 30's if a lot of shit is happening. Great port in my experience, though the slightly-off controls and weird mouse-lag is a bit annoying. Thankfully, controller support mixes perfectly with M&KB. It even turns off controller vibrations the moment you start using the M&KB, which is the first time I've seen a game do that. It's a fantastic attention to detail. Gonna be upgrading my PC in a month or two and replacing the Mobo, CPU and RAM with something current. If the game already runs this well on this setup, I'm excited to see how smooth it'll be then.
Can someone give me tips on Bicycles? Not doing well on them
Do you mean in races? Also, everyone post your favourite car, go. EDIT: Oh great, looks like it deletes all of your snapamatic photos if you transferred from xbox 360 to pc.
