THERE WAS A FUCKING PASTEBIN OF LOGINS I WAS ON. https://haveibeenpwned.com/ saw it on here. Fuck me, how did this happen?
Just got the game a few hours ago. Can somebody explain to me in a few words how car ownership works? What's the difference between the car in your garage and "personal vehicle" that's always marked on map? Can you change your default personal vehicle? If you lose the car that was previously stored in the garage, will it turn up in the lot?

for those of you looking to level up fast. start up the mission "Editor and Thief", after you take the briefcase, get a tank and go to martin's house with the cops on you. just chill there for about 15 minutes killing cops, and you should get around 9 or 10k RP.

so how is performance for everyone? im still running my old ass i5-2300 and amd 6970, im afraid my pc might explode
So me any my friend just spent a good 6 hours messing around in Online. Oh man, it was fun, I haven't ever enjoyed Online that much before. [editline]16th April 2015[/editline]
so how is performance for everyone? im still running my old ass i5-2300 and amd 6970, im afraid my pc might explode
I'm getting decent framerates but I have everything on basically low settings and shaders are broken for me entirely, creating annoying artifacts everywhere. Im on an FX 8350 and Radeon 6900 series.
If you want to, check what Geforce Experiance reccomends settings for the game I have the same CPU, but running on a 970 Nvidia has given me decent reccomendations for graphic settings based on my system
Using Nvidia Geforce Experience always gives me sub 60fps, sometimes even 30-40... It's quite annoying, glad a screenshotted my custom settings. [editline]16th April 2015[/editline]
THERE WAS A FUCKING PASTEBIN OF LOGINS I WAS ON. No mention of it being connected to Facepunch though. I have one permaban on record and it came from that BF:Heroes hack. For some reason they used the login information to comprimise a tonne of Facepunch accounts.
Does using borderless fullscreen give negative impact on performance than using normal fullscreen?
Not sure how this is relevant to GTA, but security breaches happen often, thats how.
Because there's a pastebin on there called "gta" with 198 other email and password combinations.
So i've come to the conclusion that the reason my rig is failing with the 970 whenever gta 5 is played is because the gfx card is drawing too much power from my psu and is therefore under-powering everything else. Probably only because i have some shitty off brand less than bronze rated 500w psu :( so i'ma get a new better psu and see what happens. it's the only conclusion that i can come to, i've tested every other possible thing that could go wrong, my ssd, my hdd. i even memchecked my ram and checked for anything overheating when the crash/bsod happens.
So, is it bad I actually really enjoy driving the Panto? The turning radius is hilarious and it's small enough to fit in some spots where vehicles shouldn't be able to. Can it be armored? I'm extremely tempted to work my way toward a modded and armored one for heists or for fucking around.

[editline] lol [/editline] I managed to get one on sale for £40 so you may be able to find a better deal. Just recommending it because I too have a 970 and so far I've had no trouble.

also thanks for the suggestion!

Hey if you experience stutter and pop-ins try shutting down the GTA launcher after launching the game. If you look at its CPU usage it's quite high. May or may not help, saw it on some site.
So... anyone experience the bug where the launcher says "Loading" then goes blank? And the game never launches?
So I found out something, when installing the 15.4 driver from AMD, they screwed up my card's clock speeds putting at pretty much Original Xbox tier speeds, core clock of 400mhz and memory at 600mhz. Thanks AMD, basically if you're getting shit performance and you're on and AMD card and use Afterburner or have the performance settings in catalyst enabled, just have a look at what speed's its set to because it might have fucked up like it did on mine. Will say one thing, at those clock speeds the game still gave 60fps at 720p on all high.
I like the kuruma
I like it too but those mods are awful. [editline]16th April 2015[/editline] When I throw all the graphics settings on high I get decent fps but mad stutters. What's with that?
Does anyone have a fix to this issue? When I start GTA V the Social Club launcher it says loading briefly and then just goes to nothing...
Using Nvidia Geforce Experience always gives me sub 60fps, sometimes even 30-40... It's quite annoying, glad a screenshotted my custom settings.
Its weird, I enabled that, and then my FPS locks to 30 :v: Looks pretty tho.
Does anyone have a fix to this issue? When I start GTA V the Social Club launcher it says loading briefly and then just goes to nothing...
Mine's doing the exact same thing.
Mine's doing the exact same thing.
The only work around that's been working for me is creating a new windows account, but I've been getting a lot of performance drop from that.

When I change the scaling option from centered to "scale image to full panel", it gets all blurry so I have no idea wtf the problem is
Sent a request for the main crew. Was in one of the old crews from the PS3/360 release.
wow playing single player campaign I honestly did not expect to see this
I'm getting a weird issue where I cant start gta v because my rockstar login has logged in elsewhere. I changed my password and restarted my computer and still gets stuck right after the rockstar logo. EDIT: well all I did was sign out on the rockstar website then tried again and it started up fine. That was weird I hope they fix it cause there's more people with the same issue but even doing what I did didn't work for em.
Oh, man. Plane races are quite interesting when you're the only one using a controller and nobody knows how to fly using the keyboard.
