found my first 'hacker' too said that he wasn't hacking, just using a cheat trainer. he was level 250 lmao what he was only shooting cops as he said but why even bother doing that shit online at all? worst thing is that I love freemode the most
Same for me only issue is that it needs HUGE amounts of VRam, 2gb just doesn't cut it I'm thinking about getting a gtx 970 4gb to replace my gtx 770 but ehh
I'm getting ~60fps at 1080 with no antialiasing and everything at least High (some Very High or Ultra), on a GTX 860m 2GB Honestly I'm shocked too.
Yeah but I'm trying to shoot for 144 fps, or at least 120, with decent everything
Well, godspeed then. 120 without motion blurring makes me physically ill.
Well, godspeed then. 120 without motion blurring makes me physically ill.
motion blur is so shit, and over 60 fps is useless with a 60hz/fps monitor anyways
I wish I could at least get 30FPS in 1080. I'm stuck with 5 if I'm lucky.
fucking good luck
I could always dunk my PC in a freezer and overclock it ten times
Is it just me or does the singleplayer Los Santos feel so much more alive? Like I understand that for performance reasons there is less peds and AI but the difference is just so bloody staggering. It feels like most of the atmosphere and live is out of the city as well. At least to me, which only kind of sucks when there is no gang to screw around with.
So just finished my longest session yet with an intentional exit of the game rather than a crash. This one lasted about 3 hours 20 minutes. My previous best (which ended in a crash) was around 2.5 hours. Had a lot of fun, but was noticing a bit of stuttering and decided that I should end the game where I wanted it to end my session rather than where the game decided it wanted to end my session.
or you could lower your standards :v: either that or set everything to low and run the game at 800x600
But that would make me unbelievably good at everything close range and anything above 50 meters awful :v:
I can't wait for a time when a GTA game is released that doesn't have four car spawn tables I'm reminded of GTA IV at times [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/542897235610317126/DC1FAFB5862E85BF5B883FC570D3924F58B8C88A/[/t]
You'd think that the PC version would be exactly like SP, wildlife, missing vehicles, AI, and more.
motion blur is so shit, and over 60 fps is useless with a 60hz/fps monitor anyways
IIRC extended exposure to refresh rates of over 98Hz does some serious shit to some peoples' brains. Early 120Hz TVs had an algorithm that smoothed the transition between frames and reduced blurring to near zero, and a small number of people got hospitalizing migraines from it. They later learned that it's only a lack of proper frame blending which triggers this, and simulating sub-98 with interpolation (read, motion blur) doesn't cause that reaction.
You'd think that the PC version would be exactly like SP, wildlife, missing vehicles, AI, and more.
Not sure what you mean. I'd think the PC version would be exactly like single player? Uhhh idk what you are even saying tbh

Even SR3 & 4 have it.
Will people think I'm cheating in-game or something if I bring my level 260-something character from Xbox to PC?
I love the details they put into the cars in GTA V Now to wait for a mod to put real life marking onto them
Not sure what you mean. I'd think the PC version would be exactly like single player? Uhhh idk what you are even saying tbh
I'm saying GTAO shouldn't be a dumbed down SP feature wise and graphically.
I love the details they put into the cars in GTA V Now to wait for a mod to put real life marking onto them
Grand Theft Forza 5
I'm saying GTAO shouldn't be a dumbed down SP feature wise and graphically.
to even get online to work properly you have to dumb it down feature wise and graphically or else no one would be able to run it it has to deal with WAY lots of stuff, SP only has to deal with a certain area however
Car variation seems fine in SP to me imo Its atleast a huge improvement over previous games MP still has the same shitty problem though
well i sit at my pc for hours on end staring at a 144hz screen. am i fucked?
No, likely not if you haven't shown symptoms already. Also the media source needs to be greater than 98Hz. The reason why it happens is because your brain and your eyes can't generate the same subtle, high-speed blurring for an object on a screen that they can and do for things in real life - nothing is really moving on a screen, it's just lights changing their state. That natural interpolation helps protect against overstimulation, and since it's absent from a source like this, if you're sensitive to that, it kicks you in the head pretty hard pretty quick.
Theres a setting under graphics that allows the game to continue going when it loses focus
I'm talking about before the game actually loads. I was surfing and thinking that the game could load in the background, but it just kept loading forever until I switched to it and waited.
Well, after being worried for several weeks that my computer would struggle to run the game with my aging i5 2300, I installed the game to find I was getting 40 - 60 fps on high textures at 1080p. I was a bit disappointed to find that I got occasional freezes for a second or so, particularly during missions. Yesterday I installed the new drivers from AMD and there are now no noticeable performance problems. The game runs like a dream and looks great. Could not be happier. Good job Rockstar!

If you turn it all the way up, you get a realistic amount of variety and no dupe problems at all.
Any good solo RP or money glitches for PC? There's this "set a vehicle on fire" dupe method, but does it work?
Car variation seems fine in SP to me imo Its atleast a huge improvement over previous games MP still has the same shitty problem though
I've been looking for a Duneloader for about three hours now with no luck. Seems like the only thing that spawns in the same few cars over and over.
I'm saying GTAO shouldn't be a dumbed down SP feature wise and graphically.
Hmm. Well then for future reference instead of just mentioning PC version and singleplayer you could actually mention the thing you are complaining about
