that seems like a crazy amount of work..
i'm feeling like getting a refund at this point, goddamnit.
it's actually really easy, just download http://www.winmd5.com/ that then compare the files checksums with the above mentioned tool, when theres a checksum that doesnt match, delete it. then after you've checked and deleted everything u need, open the gta v launcher and it will start downloading the missing data again
The Online server system is so fucked up at the moment. No matter how I try to keep the session private or invite-only the game still throws my friend or me out of the session or somehow all kinds of random idiots are flooding the session.
I read that this has been a problem ever since the game was released on PS3 and 360. It's been two years and still this kind of shit is happening?
Really frustrating to do the missions and races when the session keeps randomly changing all the time. I really wish we could just host our own sessions.
Not getting any problem like this. Are you sure your actually making it private :v:
Its works, Very High Textures on my 2GB 680.
The editor and director's mode are glorious

theres like 5 different codes, do i have to check 'em all on each file?

Na each md5 is for each file
The sound design in this game is amazing. I love hearing cars wooshing by while driving in first person, or the occasional twig snap when walking through grass.
I just wish the weapons sounded like they had more power to them. I'm sure people will eventually come out with weapon sounds for all weapons.
Make it sound like Bad Company 2. Would be killer.
so shitty you have to change the game to a none english language to be able to change the units from a system that only 2 countries in this world use -.-
Anyone up for some heists? I've got a microphone http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/member/zerokateo
could someone do a comparison with 30fps and 60fps? i see alota youtube videos with people "claiming" they have 60fps but they're full of shit, it must be their video editors that affect the framerate of the video they record.

why is it hard to believe that they have 60fps?
Has anyone figured out how to run retail with Steam overlay support? Not having it with all the loading screens almost makes me regret not getting it on Steam (though the 6gb patch taking ~5 hours and crashing my net over half a dozen times reminds me otherwise).
Na each md5 is for each file
all right, thank you. ill try this
why is the rockstar store down? is where ANYWHERE I can buy more money?
Still can't join ANYONE, let alone other crew mates or friends. I'm able to use GTA Online normally for about 30 minutes. Then I get disconnected and can't play with anyone at all for the rest of the day.
I'm starting to think it's because I'm from India, despite my friends telling me my location has got nothing to do with it. :|
I'm late but since moders can now view files in gta5, do you think R* will see the appeal finaly and release native support for mods? Like on a seperate client ofc.

Is there any fix to the ground disappearing when driving around a bit? I've seen other people talking about having the issue, but not recently.

fuck around with the distance sliders and population slider things i think
Is there any way to start a "party" or something similar that guarantees I stay in the same freeroam sessions and missions as a friend?
For those of you who are hitting much higher than 60 FPS, but are worried to increase your settings even further for fear of the 'recommended ram usage' settings or whatever, just go ahead and do it. I've been a couple of hundred of MB over the recommended settings for my card, and can play just fine for hours at a time with no slowdown.
I managed to beat prison break in one sitting with some friends, we did everything except for the velum setup on the first try. I'm pretty proud of myself.
Well considering Rockstar couldn't give us 100+ people on gta online good luck with that.
That's because the vanilla mp uses P2P. If the modders used a client-server architecture, (like with multiv-mod.com), then having 100+ players is fully possible.
Anyone had the chance to try and play the game on a Radeon HD4870 and / or a C2D E8400 @ 3ghz ?
That or on a laptop. I've got a HD7670M and a decent i5 on it. Pretty crappy specs but I heard the game's optimisation is fantastic so...
I was wondering if we're going to make a get together soon?
It's really horrible to play with people who have shitty connections and the social aspect of the game is pretty much gone unless you get someone to play with beforehand.

Its playable on my i7 4500U (low power dual-core) and 745M laptop. Some weird issues with stuff popping in that I haven't figured out though. Its not HDD related since its on an SSD. I've heard of laptops with switchable graphics having issues with the game not launching though. Nvidia ones have a workaround but I'm not sure if one has been found for AMD GPUs.
