Is there a way I can join a FAPS crew session rather then being in a random GTAO session?

It definitely kept the game running longer and reduced the display driver crashes, but the stutter prevailed around 20-30 mins in and made online insufferable.
SP, however, is probably fixed from that. I should try it. SP was already smooth enough for the most part, though.
Rockstar just has to release a massive performance patch based off of this stuff. Reduce the microstutters, reduce the crashes, smooth MP a bit, and it'll be decent.

I just straight up don't have a paging file, and it prevents the memory leak. I wouldn't suggest that without 8 GB or more ram. the problem I have is the textures not loading properly one underneath it, and setting CPU priority to high just makes for some nasty input lag
Is it possible to get NPCs to follow you in the directors thing?

That sounds like it may help me. I have 8GB. What does this do exactly and would you advise it for the stutters/leaks? As I've said in all my posts, SP is fine and good for the most part, but MP is unplayable for me.
Holy shit the Video Editor is fantastic. Just spent a few hours working on one, I'll share it here once it's uploaded.

Paging files are essentially the opposite of a ramdisk, they're bits of the hard drive that are used in place of RAM whenever appropriate. They're incredibly slow, but are generally better than nothing, unless you have an SSD (which will fail prematurely if you keep a paging file on it) or loads of ram. Disabling the paging file increases RAM usage across the board, so the more you have the better.
Just completed all heists, all in order.
Time to use my money to buy a celebratory Savage/Valkyrie.
I'm guessing I should do Savage, correct?
What the heck is "JP" I see myself earning?
This is getting annoying, my game keeps crashing at the score screen for the first TDM you do in the GTAO tutorial.
I kinda wish there was more of an aspect of gangs in the game
I mean I understand theres supposed to be a truce or something but it would've been cool if there was a mission or something that ruined that truce and every so often you'd find a gang war between ballas and families or something.
The gangs were one of my favourite parts in SA and I was kinda disappointed that they removed all the gang fights in V

send an invite my way fellas.
unless you have an SSD (which will fail prematurely if you keep a paging file on it)
that is outdated advice, unless you have some old crappy SSD then it doesn't matter. The whole point of the SSD is to make your system faster, and you aren't going to wear out newer SSDs
Job Points or JP are points that are earned after completing a job in GTA Online. JP is awarded after every job, but plays its biggest role in playlists; the person with the highest amount of Job Points at the end of the playlist wins.
In a Race, the highest finisher will be awarded 15 JP; the second place finisher will be given 12 and so on.
When in a mission, players will get 15 JP by default for successfully completing the mission. If a player completed the main task during a mission (eg: collect the documents for Rooftop Rumble), they will receive 16 JP. This principle also applies to Deathmatches, where the Most Valuable Player will be awarded an additional Job Point (16 total for an MVP on the winning team).
JP will be displayed in GTA Online sessions beside the player's name. When swapping or leaving sessions, it will be reset to 0 JP.
Job Points are the only accumulated award that do not unlock items, or make them purchasable. They are simply additional rewards that do not function in anyway.
Some other people say they use it as a tiebreaker.

Finally found settings that I can use to maintain 40-60 fps on my shitty hardware .
Too bad it's at 720p instead of the 900p my native res is. But I get to use very high textures and shaders this way.
When I exported my video the sound was out of synch :(

Actually, if you want to keep working development
If I chuck in a folder path, it should scan the whole folder for PGTA* files, and output them to the current directory
If you want to get techical, paramerter it with -u {profile id} to check '%userprofile%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\{profile id} and export all of them to the current directory (I say this because I placed the binary into my path, and I export the images into a folder in /My Pictures)
Otherwise I can just write a batch
Whatever that armored sports car is (can never remember the name), I have yet to see more than like two people driving it out of the 30+ I've encountered who aren't complete assholes.
If they're not ramming the car you're driving or stickybombing the non-PV you're trying to get into, they're shooting you for absolutely no reason, and there's nothing much you can really do in return since the windows are tempered, and you'll get the bad sport strike they're fishing for if you blow it up. There's no way to win other than just avoid them, but they're too fast to do that reliably either.

Kuruma.
If you think that's bad, the Insurgent is worse.

Passive mode m8
Goddam you people i know i cant obtain a dayz mod by renaming the exe
What ive meant was is it possible for a dayz mod soon? Does the gtav have enough mod support for it?
for %%f in ("%userprofile%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\752D8DC9\PGTA*") do (
copy "%userprofile%\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\752D8DC9\%%~nf" "%userprofile%\Pictures\Snapmatic\"
)
for %%c in ("%userprofile%\Pictures\Snapmatic\PGTA*") do (
gtavpictures "%userprofile%\Pictures\Snapmatic\%%~nc"
del "%userprofile%\Pictures\Snapmatic\%%~nc"
)
Anyone who needs it for the time being
Chuck this into the same directory as the exe (or PATH it)
Change profile ID and output
save as .bat
Passive mode m8
There are things you can't do in passive, like gang attacks and holdups. Having to cut available activities because a griefer is around is the exact opposite of good design, or fun for that matter.
Something that could actually be a step toward fixing it is not punishing someone for killing a player with 3/5 or higher mental state. Not given bad sport for destroying their PV, not liable for damages, and won't gain mental state themselves from doing so. If you want to be a dick, you're going to have everything preventing people being dicks back to you totally removed until you stop.

A dayz mod would require a complete rewrite of probably more than half the game, and considering people have only just been able to open some files I would not get my hopes up for the coming 1/2 years. Considering the lack of official tools as well.
The best you can hope for is a mod that makes all peds melee attack the player and removes AI cars if you want it quick.
so, no hope at all, right?
