Does anyone know if when importing a character from one of the last gens (PS3 for me) you can change their appearance?
my character looks ugly as fuck I really want to change it

It's not really breaking the stock market, you're just doing the assassination missions and investing before and after.

Yes you can, when you import it'll take you to the new character creation screen. It'll still have all your cars/progress etc, just lets you completely change your appearance once more.

But with the assassination missions, you gotta know before you do them to do them after you beat the game or like me, you do all of them with knowing what they do exactly and to save them for the end game.

I didn't know much about stocks at the time and I didn't really care since I was getting money via the Heist missions in SP.

It'll be like the Halo cheater lobbies. Where everyone uses Godmode and you can't do anything.
It also means you can't play with friends/crew, you can only play with other cheaters. You can't join friends who are also cheaters.

It may have to do with you trying to sign in to offline mode?

Your launcher is running in offline mode for some reason, even though you're pretty obviously connnected to the internet. Try rebooting.
(Or I just don't know how the launcher works because I got it through steam.)

I thought signing in was the way to leave Offline Mode, but apparently not.
Offline Mode is what appeared after I got past the splash screen.
did anybody ever actually figure out how to run gta IV properly. I remember my laptop running it faster than my pc which was impossible. was the mystery ever solved?

I did this with GTA III. Went to the shop twice only to find out that it had been delayed again, so I decided to emule it. Started the download some time in the afternoon, went to bed at night, got up about every hour to check the download. It finished 4:30 in the morning. I played for about 10 minutes but realized I was too tired to even understand what's going on.
I also went on a week's leave from work when RDR was released.
It was worth it.
Is there any chance to run GTA V on Core 2 Duo (E8400) processor?
Or I need 4 cores? :rolleyes:
Does anybody keep experiencing this where GTA V on Steam will suddenly download something small for a minute or two? It's happened to me twice today, I keep shitting myself.

I think it might but bare in mind that you also need 64 bit windows.

Does anyone else have this problem with the R* downloader? I'm at 50% right now and if this is a common issue, I guess I'd rather pause my download until it's fixed than having to restart it on monday.

In any case I've heard the preload on steam has updated so the Pirate Pre Load might not actually work on on release.
