So are we going to have the first FP GTA5 event at launch or in a couple of weeks so everyone has some time to get prepped and for people to get GTA5? I'd prefer if we waited a couple of weeks.

I guess im wrong and my internet is really bad? because sometimes 40% - 50% of my frames are dropped.

If you're joining FAPS for the GTA: Online launch, please do it sooner rather than later if you're doing it today. Once GTA V drops on PC I doubt anyone will be putting it down to accept Social Club invites. If you have any problems, add me on Steam.

Honestly the best FAPS events on Xbox were just when everyone happened to be on. If you're repping your crew, you have a higher chance of playing with crew mates.
