Sent a invite, Dr.Rummy And i might do a silly machinima in this game. Edit: Say, will i be able to run this game at 720p with a gtx 770 on the highest settings?
They seem to have installed fine for me. However I use a rather old GPU, GTX 560 Ti, maybe that's why I'm not experiencing any of the issues?
I got em on a GTX 970 and they were fine.
The big oooone.
6 hours left for me ( if steam releases on proper time zones ), how many for you guys?
Dunno if this was posted [vid]http://i.imgur.com/W9GoIVX.webm[/vid]
how long do people think the decryption will take?
They seem to have installed fine for me. However I use a rather old GPU, GTX 560 Ti, maybe that's why I'm not experiencing any of the issues?
I've got them installed and it's fine. Been using Unreal Engine and haven't had any issues
how long do people think the decryption will take?
Depends on hard drive speed, people are saying 10 - 30min tho.
yeah thats whats kinda worrying me, decryption can take absolutely fuckin ages
how long do people think the decryption will take?
SSD: 5-10 mins HDD: I'm afraid to guess.
6 hours left for me ( if steam releases on proper time zones ), how many for you guys?
6 hours universally i'm pretty sure
SSD: 5-10 mins HDD: I'm afraid to guess.
I don't think it will be THAT bad. i mean. i installed my gta in a HDD. and my hdd is healthy as hell.
One mod I would like is where it extends the wasted timer and makes it controllable slow mo like gta IV did. I like seeing my ragdoll around after an explosion or collision. It makes wipeouts more fun.
What is this game decryption thing? Also is it safe to install the GTA V drivers for Nvidia, because im getting mixed reports of it breaking stuff?
Most SSDs = 450~MB/s read and write Most HDDs that aren't in a raid = 100=150MB/s + awful access times do the math rummy :v:
True. But i can give a extra 30mins of my day to wait. also that HDD has never made me wait. only on after effects I since moved to SDD for my editing softwares.
Should I bite the bullet and get the game now? Is the ingame money worth it? I kinda want to wait on a sale but I know it probably won't be on sale for much.
Don't use them, people are reporting they break.
gtx770 here. No noticable faults. i think there were 2 updates today and i got the later one.
I thought the Social Club version of the game isn't encrypted, people have extracted textures from it, haven't they? I've seen pictures of onscreen instructions for the yoga mission somewhere on facepunch
rockstar just posted an announcment about the editor [editline]13th April 2015[/editline] http://www.rockstargames.com/videos#/?video=11269
I thought the Social Club version of the game isn't encrypted, people have extracted textures from it, haven't they? I've seen pictures of onscreen instructions for the yoga mission somewhere on facepunch
Only some of the social club version are encoded, but their method of doing it was more to split the files apart into multiple archives. So even if you got the game to launch it doesn't know where the fuck to look for shit because theres more archives than there should be. The Steam version uses Steam's typical encoding method which is some format with a private key thats only distributed when the game releases.
GTX 780 here. Nothing bad so far. Though with the last game ready drivers, the Battlefield Hardline ones, I was getting driver crashes so I had to revert back to older ones. Going to test this driver set out in a bit in BF:H and see what it do.
