yes, actually. for a game this size it's been handled quite poorly, honestly. it didn't need to be an encrypted preload, primarily because as long as the binaries are missing data/missing entirely, and their social club thing downloads them, it prevents leaks and also prevents shit like this.

I don't really think they have control over how steam distributes it's preloads, though. Just sort of a shame this is how it occurred.
