Sent an invite request to the crew. I played the xbox 360 version, but not the MP stuff because I don't have xbox gold. So I have NO idea what the MP stuff is like.

I have loads of school work due in around the time this releases so I think I'm just gonna not buy it until it's all done. also i have no money because im a poor student

I got V on release, played through the story, then gave it to my younger brother and never played it again for fear of burning myself out. I stopped playing before GTA online was even released. Seriously looking forward to playing through it again in first person, holy shit.

20 hours left, download speed staying at <100KB/s but looking more like <50KB/s. SICK. Time to turn everything internet-related off.

Then the guy said there was a scratch so he had me refund him 5$ out of the 10ish$ I sold it for. The funny thing is I DID check the discs before I sold them, but I only checked the "play" disc, not the "install" disc. so w/e I bought it for like 40$ anyway.

I'm thinking some friends will want to play MP as soon as I get in but I don't want to spoil SP in any way. Does anyone know if there is anything in MP that could possibly be spoilers for the story? (for example: characters appearing that would be introduced in SP)

Why do the devs say you need a 7870 to do 4k 30 fps but "high end" sli to do 4k 60 fps? Isn't a 980 way more powerful than a 7870?

Speaking of which, how long until someone mods the singleplayer to be multiplayer?

Took 12 hours to download but it's here. And I wake up to see that the game unlocks a day early. This is quite exciting!

I remember that the console versions got an 8 GB day one update on a separate disk, will PC users need the same update or is it already included in the 59 GB download?

I have a 32in monitor that I'd like to maximize but I'm having fears and doubts of pulling it off smoothly and at high settings with a 970 and an i5 4690k.

Does anyone have a link to torrent the files needed for the rockstar downloader? That way I can hopefully just bypass the terrible downloader altogether?

I'm guessing the only reason dl's are fucking up with the Social Club launcher is because so many people are trying to download the game.

If you think it's bad now, wait till 12am Tuesday when everyones trying to access the Social Club to authenticate.

fucking christ, my downloader keeps losing connection to the download server, wtf is going on. It's also barely reaching 1mb/s, It's jumped from going at a constant 2mb/s to like maybe 256kb/s to 512kb/s

At that time there won't be a million people trying to access the social club servers.
