It's beautiful. Runs like a charm, though don't run the benchmark tool without finishing the first mission. It gets bugged and you have to restart.
Well, it got to about 5 MB remaining on the 350 MB patch for me, lost connection to the download server, and when it reconnected, it decided it had to redownload the entire thing. You'd think they would have a lot more download servers available considering they already knew the exact number of people who preordered it.
Disk space required : 65 GB. I have 114 on my SSD. Preload complete - Play.
No... No... Data.. data why. Why you grow. Why you suddenly no fit. 65 =/= >114 GTA. why.

Go to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V
Open the launcher.log file and delete everything in it. Then try running it once again. Then post that log file.

I have the same problem, it just stops responding as soon as I start it and I'm left with a black screen.
FUCK this rockstar launcher
evidently if it comes up with a crash you have to redownload the whole thing if it's in the middle of the download. it's an endless loophole. because that's cleaning up your servers.
literally got to about one minute/10 megs left to download and it crashed, so now i have to download the 350mb update all over again

I read the work around steam suggests. It actually says to create a new admin account (awful) with the correct characters as the solution. So it might be that simply changing your windows username isn't enough.
Before that, have you tried turning it off and on again? :P
Why would unpacking take so long for some and not for others? I just reached a little over halfway for it and my download estimate keeps changing from like 30 minutes to 12 hours and down again.

Can confirm regarding the benchmark, it tried to run the first mission and the benchmark at the same time. Shit was weird.

i would imagine so since there's already an update that everyone is forced to download. so you'd be stuck in the loophole that everyone else is in too
