Grand Theft Auto Series Megathread V4 - 3 and 1/2 Years in the Making: GTA V PC - Games

Well I broke down and bought it even though I said I wouldn't... Probably going to be a few days before the download is done so hopefully they've patched the major issues and the servers have calmed down a bit by then.

Anyone getting the issue where the world loads, then almost all textures disappear, then a really low-quality render of the textures appear, then it goes back to normal? Is it possible to make your character walk with just a mouse and keyboard?

Game is running fine but I have had some weird glitching where some objects stretch out and make big spikes, it happened to a peds coffee cup in the intro and Franklin's car for 1 mission, then it went back to normal also director mode is great [t]http://i.imgur.com/bOPA1dA.jpg[/t]

Some guy is willing to sell me a Intel Core i7-2600K that im thinking about getting for this (my CPU is a Athlon II X3 440 but i have a diff mobo i can use) should I go for it

does self fm have a radio announcer and ads or is it just a playlist station?

Game is running great for me at high settings. Managed to get past the game crashing at the start by lowering some settings from Very High to High and enabling vsync. Is there a way to ragdoll yourself? I can't seem to find the key for it.

This is torture not being able to launch the game while my friends are playing without me :(

The HD space requirement is 65GB but requires more to install it. What the fuck man. I can't install it, I only have 2 120GB SSDs and one old 150GB HDD. So, I need to buy a new HDD just to be able to play this game? Go fuck yourselves Rockstar, they need to be clear on the HDD requirements. 65GB is obv a mistake.

I think it's worth to mention: Rockstar did really great job at this, I mean yeah delays, it took a while but well the end result is pretty impressive. I've been playing GTA Online now for 2 hours straight - not a single crash, disconnect or any other problem.

Yep, second-most-recent drivers fixed the pin-stripe skin issue. Gonna avoid the absolute most recent ones for a week or so.

Well, shit. I did a heist set up with ZombieDawgs from faps, but then he went to do the next, and by the time i could buy some worthy guns, i couldn't join him. :(
