For whatever reason I got a lower FPS and dips in the intro than I do flying down the streets of Los Santos... I'm honestly confused. Maybe it was the God Rays? I know my GPU shits itself on 3 things: AA, AO, and Volumetric Fog.
This pretty much sums up how I feel about Tonya's missions.
I heard they added copcars back into traffic, anyone confirm?
I just saw one chasing a guy.
Im driving in the first franklin mission and the thing just stops responding what
Sounds like a rocky start overall. Some people can get it to work but many others seem to have a difficult time. My friend keeps crashing on the Social Club menu so this whole thing has kind of miffed him a bit.
Okay yeah, the pop ins are caused by sli somehow. Switched it back to single gpu rendering and now there's no pop ins. I just have to deal with the lower graphics til they fix that, I guess.
Wait, what? So is that an extra 5 gigs of online patch/data after all seven disks are exhausted?
yup. fucking unbelievable.
I'm getting pretty decent FPS with a 2 GB card and 8 GB RAM. It's not custom, and I didn't expect to get so much FPS. I can turn things up a bit, but I really want to get a 4 GB card so I can max almost everything. Getting 45-50.
Getting a solid 60 frames per second (limited) at very/high 1080p on Catalyst 14.5 beta drivers. AMD users, you might want to try them. They seem to have fixed my stuttering issues totally.
looks like if you have dxtory or fraps it'll crash instantly
I took a bunch of screenshots and snapmatics of stuff I liked. http://i.imgur.com/mszcP5s.jpg [t]http://i.imgur.com/iKa7u9t.jpg[/t] You can see all of the buttons on the television and VCR, and the cabinet is really well detailed. [t]http://i.imgur.com/GdJqBRl.jpg[/t] The amount of detail that went unnoticed in the prior releases is amazing. [t]http://i.imgur.com/G6ipiiP.jpg[/t] Mud splashing on cars is now a lot more realistic. It doesn't take a few hours of riding around Sandy Shores to get a messy car. http://i.imgur.com/6dVEEyK.jpg [t]http://i.imgur.com/nP9xBUM.jpg[/t] Sunsets are even more amazing now. [t]http://i.imgur.com/kwdTdr6.jpg[/t] Franklin has gross fingernails that really need to be cut. I can call a video game character's fingernails gross now. We live in the future. [t]http://i.imgur.com/VEsKage.jpg[/t] Window tints. [t]http://i.imgur.com/lmo8o7p.jpg[/t] The way those string pennants flutter and actually make sound as the fabric claps against itself reminds me of spending the summer by the shore when I was little. The immersion the details of this game brings is unbelievable and practically unmatched. Does anyone know how to set up custom radio stations yet?
looks like if you have dxtory or fraps it'll crash instantly
Fraps gave me no issues at all.
Does anyone know how to set up custom radio stations yet?
There's a "user music" folder in Documents/Rockstar/GTA V. Just drag and drop, start the game, scan the files, and bam.
then why did you buy the game again
Online, awesome framerate, mods. Just to name a few.
Does anyone know how to set up custom radio stations yet?
Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\User Music If that's what you mean
Does anyone know how to set up custom radio stations yet?
drop music in to Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\User Music
Also, PC draw distance: http://gfycat.com/VeneratedAnyChimneyswift#
Thanks guys, that was simpler than I thought.
Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\User Music If that's what you mean
What if I don't want to have all my music twice?
There's a "user music" folder in Documents/Rockstar/GTA V. Just drag and drop, start the game, scan the files, and bam.
You can use shortcuts if you want to save space too.
What happens when you go over your alloted Vram? I only have 2 GB, if 1 GB is running of system ram (ddr3), will that be signifigant slowdown or popin?
Stuttering from hell.
[t]http://rp.braxnet.org/scr/2015-04-14_07-24-38.png[/t] fuck i couldn't resist when vinny started playing :suicide: aww ye
Does anyone know if you can still get the "returning player" bonuses if you've linked your Social Club to a PSN ID that's played single player but not online? I love the Dukes so it'd really suck if I'll never be able to drive it.
You can now see that her eyes are discolored and bloodshot from all the drugs she takes.
You could see that even in the 360 version. I remember it very distinctly from when I played the game back then.
i7 930, Radeon 7870, 6GB of RAM and the only smooth part of the game is the intro. I get 60+ FPS but once I'm in the city and start to drive the game shits itself and I get under 5 FPS. I understand my PC isn't the best for being 5 years old but damn, the minimum specs say I can play the game and this clearly isn't the case.
Been having a multitude of problems, first install (fortunately takes only 4 hours), unpacking wont fit on my PC, so I try to skirt around the issue by reinstalling. After waiting another 4 hours for it to install, I restart the computer (preformance seems to dip down over time, restarting fixes it), and I start up Steam to find that now it doesnt even recognize GTA V as an installed game, even though the files are right there. It doesnt help that the game is now giving ME shit when I try to start it up either through the launcher or through the application manually, telling me that I cant properly start it unless I use the steam client. Anyone ever encountered this problem before? Steam support says the problem is because the game is on a alternate "library", but I am using the default steam install folder, and trying to prompt it to recognise installed files during download is a bust too, since the install is 59 to 62 gigs while I only have 55.3 or 40 gigs left once its all downloaded. Here goes another 4 to 5 hours:suicide:
Where's the absolute cheapest I can get this? I have about $50 and I want to play the story mode again (my PS3 copy is broken :v:) I did some googling and all the CD key sites look fairly sketchy, so I'm asking you guys to recommend one to me.
