I'm on the latest NVidia drivers Specs are: GTX 760 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Windows 7
your cpu is like 8 years old dude of course you won't be able to run it
Turns out i had outdated nvidia driver, game run at low specs pretty nicely and even then it looked better than my PS3 version. However it kept crashing randomly. Here's to hoping that this updated driver will remove that issue since game ran fine.
I feel lucky because I've had no issues with launching or playing the game, and I get great FPS on High Settings. I've only had time to play 2 hours and I fucking love this game, playing the first Franklin mission made me remember how much fun I had on 360, 10x 10/10 Release
First attempt using Rockstar Editor, I love it so far.
Why does your character look like Elliot Rodgers?
your cpu is like 8 years old dude of course you won't be able to run it
You know the CPU is above minimum specs right?
Anyone else experiencing large fps drops when listening to Self Radio ?
You know the CPU is above minimum specs right?
Minimum is for low at 30, if he's not hitting 30 he probably has an outdated driver. No idea why he bought that GPU with the CPU, there's some crazy bottlenecking going on.
How bad is this? 8 GB RAM i7-2600K 2x NVidia Geforce 560Ti because the graphics run like poop, I have to run it at 1366x768 and everything at lowest or otherwise I use too much video ram. I think I have to replace my GPUs with 1 good GPU instead.
this release was so awesome thanks rockstar for making this worth the wait and thank you guys for making it memorable!

Just got to play a few deathmatch rounds with Robbaz. Fuck yes. His ingame name is RobbazKing by the way [editline]14th April 2015[/editline] His KD was 9.5 btw so if you cross paths with him get on his good side
Yep your 1GB isn't cutting it.
So I can't use the actual 2GB I have?
So what crew is everyone in? I'm still a member of the old PS3 FAPS2 but that is awfully quiet.

The more gameplay I watch, the more comfortable I feel with with the PS4 version. From what I can tell, unless you can run the game in 4K at 60fps, you're basically getting the current gen console version. All I'm really missing out on is director mode and better framerate. I'll probably get a PC beefy enough to run this eventually when everything is stable and some mindblowing mods come out.
Im Looking at these posts about performance and it seems that I've got the same issue as other people: CPU bottleneck. I've got two GTX 570s in SLI and I've got 12gb of ram, but I've got an Intel i7 960. Is the 960 what's forcing me to only handle normal graphics?
Minimum is for low at 30, if he's not hitting 30 he probably has an outdated driver. No idea why he bought that GPU with the CPU, there's some crazy bottlenecking going on.
IIRC minimum was stated as 800x600 between 20 and 30
I am really impressed with how the game is running. There has been some hicups with framerate when dealing with select particle/physics effects, otherwise I have been running a solid 60+ framerate. Thank mr rockstar.
Didn't Rockstar say they updated the damage model to cars? Does it look better now?
Not gonna read 1666 new posts, is it good or what?
Looking at everyone talking about the problems now, I think I'll wait and buy it next month, when they fix it.
... why not just keep it until it works?
Because well, I preordered it a few months ago, and this month I'm really short on money. Not to mention that I really don't like having games that I can't play.
How do you access the Rockstar Editor?
seems like 590 is up for round 2... we'll see how long it lasts this time.
ordering a GTX 970... hope that fucking cuts it
http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/member/hezzyuk add me yo
How do you access the Rockstar Editor?
pause menu also in story mode you can go right to director mode through the player menu (M by default)
Is it possible to change the path the editor saves the footage? It now tries to work out of my small SSD which gives it only around 5 gb of space, whilst I have over 500 gb on a different drive
Dunno if anyone cares but with i5-4670k@4.0GHz, R9 270x and 8GB of RAM I'm getting around 60fps with mostly high to very high settings, with a couple of mediums (like texture quality, because 2GB of VRAM isn't enough, apparently...). No micro stuttering, no crashes yet, but I barely played.
