Anyone playing with a 7850? Does the game run well with it?
Yes. Mixed settings, average is about 52-55fps, never goes below 40.
enjoy a stupid video
What am I doing wrong I am running it on a AMD FX-8350, 8gb ram and a geforce GTX 660, yet driving through the city gives me massive frame drops. Sometimes it stays near 55/60 fps, but it often drops. This is all on normal settings
Same setup as you, solid 60 fps all on high driving through the city. Maybe try the 350.12 GTA drivers?
My PC is not one of the best, but anyone else getting stutters in GTAO? I get 60fps but there's always these annoying stutters.
Actually i'm not getting stutters anymore. Nice.
7 Discs holy balls
Really wish the in-game recorder would record the events during the "WASTED" screen, too. Especially when stuff like that happens. Also sucks that you can't edit camera angles if you recorded your clip in first-person mode.
Why the fuck is it starting in windowed mode every time?
- set resolution to lowest - set all settings to lowest = computer overheats after 1 hour of gameplay I can't play. This is why I was considering the console version.
So give cash from last job is really broken... bounties you can't share anymore and for some reason it sets the percentage at -2%?
So give cash from last job is really broken... bounties you can't share anymore and for some reason it sets the percentage at -2%?
I killed KorroBravin for his bounty earlier and was able to give him the money
Damn they fixed the "free" Rail Gun Bug. When the game launched on Current Gen. If you killed yourself with the railgun in the shooting range it would stay in your inventory.
Has anyone else had the issue of the launcher bugging out and just loading, failing and then retrying over and over?
Franklin's garage has some render issues [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/540772015697221340/D41CF2448A328EB66429900D873E8733BC350FB5/[/t] [t]http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/540772015697221520/5539E98A09A10C20065D87E341A3DE0C07754F08/[/t]
I killed KorroBravin for his bounty earlier and was able to give him the money
Well it's not letting me share them at all, any of my last job cash.
- set resolution to lowest - set all settings to lowest = computer overheats after 1 hour of gameplay I can't play. This is why I was considering the console version.
How about you clean up your computer then? You know that it probably gains unwanted heat due to massive amount of dust in radiators... If it still overheats after this, then replace the thermal paste on overheating parts. Caring for your hardware isn't that hard.
Apparently the PC version hates Windowed Borderless. If I do a mission with more than one round, the second round I have to switch it back to Fullscreen then back to WB, or else I just stare at my character's face all round.
So my brother used Disc 1 to start downloading it himself (It's his copy but he is letting me use it first), and since he didn't have a DVD drive anymore, he used the External DVD-Drive. What I forgot about the External DVD-Drive (Since it's been years since I last used it), is that it kinda makes a grinding sound and might mess up the DVD/CD if off balance. Disc 1 got a scratch and it stopped halfway for my brother. I wasn't too worried since I thought it was just the Social Club installer and the GTA5 base like the 175 MB exe from the official site, but it wasn't, it is part of the installation for the entire game. I was really fucking worried, I mean the scratch didn't look too bad but it stopped mid-way and that had me worried and since I had to use it to start the installation, I was worried even more. But thankfully, the Scratch didn't do any major damage like I thought, so I am onto Disc 3. Hopefully I should be playing GTA5 with you guys tomorrow.

is anybody staying on ps4?
Still waiting for my retail copy... ...only to put it in the shelf, because I have yet to buy a PC, that can actually run it. The waiting continues.
- set resolution to lowest - set all settings to lowest = computer overheats after 1 hour of gameplay I can't play. This is why I was considering the console version.
reducing your graphics wont do anything to curb heat, you need to limit your fps. underclock your cpu + gpu by like 5-10%. should help stop it overheating.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/o1wBDyU.jpg[/T] This is perty, smooth ass 144 baby!
Fix the display boundaries. You're cutting off parts of the map and it looks terrible.
Fix the display boundaries. You're cutting off parts of the map and it looks terrible.
ill never understand why rockstar changed the default display boundaries.
So I'm having no issues with the game in single-player but multi-player gives fairly huge stutters. Not to mention the network lag right now. Still almost entirely happy with the PC version though.
Anyone willing to help me with a Heist please? I'm sick of getting retards. :< http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/member/doggunn
just a heads up, offline mode doesn't work. dont lose your internet connection.
can I get someone else to confirm this? I can't play connected to the internet 100% of the time, I have to share this dinky little mifi2200 card with the rest of family, it can't stay tethered to my desktop 24/7 so if this is true I'm literally fucked and will barely be able to play.
After using Geforce Experience to optimise GTA 5, it now runs super smooth and almost never dips under 50 fps at high/very high. Also, if I change my screentype to fullscreen, the fps dips by about 25 fps. Changing it to windowed borderless gives me the best performance. Don't know what affected me the most but it's fixed atleast. What kinda sucks though, is when you have saved a clip for the editor in first person mode, you can't change the camera after so you are stuck in a first person mode camera. Kinda weird restriction
This game is kewl. not maxed out but running smooth as!
GTA V keeps starting in windowed mode for me. Anyone else getting this and know how to fix it?
alt+enter
