I love you for your avatar <3
Try running it in windowed mode? You can set the launch options to -windowed or use ALT + Enter
It automatically windows on following tries and still freezes and crashes.
My only problem is I can't max it out with a 2gb card.
Do the settings only go from normal to ultra? I can't put textures and such on low.
Not all of them are the same but it should go Low > Medium > High > Very High
You can run most things on very high with a single 580? I am running at around normal-high on a 760.
I'll double check my settings but it only dipped to 50 or 55 when using heavy DOF in some scenes.
AND the only shit part is a lot of these problems seem to be with my card (MSI 970gtx OC)

I have a 970 as well...wonder if it's related to that memory issue that these cards have?
The vram usage doesnt make sense, the ps3 only had 512 mb for fucks sake.
Yeah? What does the PS3 version have to do with this? This isn't a port.
OK, I was able to play for a few minutes before leaving for my classes today. Ran flawlessly in what I played on a mixture of settings, mainly high and very high. Lowest setting is Normal for textures, since my 770 is only 2GB.
My specs for the interested are
i5-3570k
GTX 770 Factory OC'd
16GB RAM
Not all of them are the same but it should go Low > Medium > High > Very High
Alrighty, thanks dude - I'll look into why I don't have low options :v
ah ok...that's a shame. Some reports show that 347.88 works on the Nvidia forums.
Please let us know if it helps. I'll probably try this as well.
IDK, but the underclocking didn't work. Game actually crashed like 2 minutes into playing this time, probably the quickest it has crashed yet. At least it didn't BSOD again, but I've noticed that when I try to open Geforce experience after the game crashes it gives me an error and says it has to close, Seems like a problem with the nvidia card for sure.
I have a MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
First time messing with any kind of GTA video editor.

I hope that new driver works...
So I just finished installing my retail copy. At the part where I should be downloading the 5GB remainder of the files, my launcher simply flickers between "Loading..." and "Installation failed, please retry." Anyone got any advice?
Oh boy! I have sold my entire CS:GO inventory and a good part of my steam/tf2 inventory, just have to wait for a few more sales and I can buy GTAV!

Try the link a few posts up. It skips the R* servers for that patch.
is it worth paying the extra £/$ to get this on steam?
currently £40/$60 on steam however i can get it elsewhere for £20/$30
To anyone running this on a 750 ti. What settings are you running it with?
And what is your performance?
EDIT hate using iPhones
was playing with iownuall in a mission where you have to steal a tanker truck, unfortunately I detached the tanker and we had to improvise to fix it
I have been having TDRs in iRacing, on my EVGA GTX 970, in Windows 8.1 x64. This started happening on the previous R349 driver, 350.05, and continues to happen on 350.12. I am trying to drop my overclock by 20MHz intervals, but ... I'm not sure if the overclock is the culprit, since 347.88 seemed rock solid with no TDRs at the original overclock.

I can sort of confirm this. Getting absolutely horrible flickering across the whole screen at 4K 60Hz, but with 347.88 driver. 4K 30Hz works with no issues. I didn´t try 59Hz. Might be a chroma subsampling issue in my case because of HDMI 1.4.

SLI in GTA V works fine with the previous driver (347.88)

Agreed. It was all working fine in the 347.88 driver.

Using a windows restore-point I rolled back to a pre upgrade configuration (driver 347.88), and my system is fully stable again.

I reverted mine to 347.88, I had 3 BSOD after starting different games, these drivers are broken!
All pulled from that previously posted link. Seems like these new drivers are fucked.
disk install has been hanging at this for like 10+ minutes

and my disk drive has slowed down (disk 1 is inserted)
what do
Seems like a problem with the nvidia card for sure.

I got a EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0
Certainly sounds like it could be related
is a gtx 900 series 970 is the most I'd buy) even worth it compared to a 770?
the biggest difference for me would be that 2gb is a huge memory cap to me, and 4gb-6gb would be a big bonus
but it doesn't seem like it'd be that big of a deal
is it worth paying the extra £/$ to get this on steam?

Yes everytime. Rockstar servers are kinda shitty when it comes to downloading

Yeah I rolled back my drivers, gonna test it out now. Also I think I want to turn off the aftermarket overclock, not sure what the settings should be though, never messed with clocks n' shit before.
