I've done it with both. Wormhole feels infinitely more badass though.

Whoaaa no way. What is the keyboard equivalent?

E.
Obviously this aborts missions though, so it's more useful when you need to exfiltrate/get out of a hot zone, or just did some side-op(s).

It should be E
Someone in the earlier thread had mentioned how much of a pain Lingua Franca's "Listen to all 4 prisoner interrogations" is and I completely agree. This has eaten almost 2 hours of my time now. It's ridiculous.
dude steals my [sp]nuke[/sp] and by the time i wake up and can retaliate he already disposed of it
dude steals my [sp]nuke[/sp] and by the time i wake up and can retaliate he already disposed of it
Tempted to say that's what you get for building a [sp]nuke[/sp]
But that shit's expensive and is a huge time investment, so I'm sorry to hear that.
dude steals my [sp]nuke[/sp] and by the time i wake up and can retaliate he already disposed of it
I think I'm just gonna start backing up my save every time before I start MGSV. 24+ hours is a ridiculous amount of in-game time to spend, especially when I've already beat the game.
[sp]my trainer I use for singleplayer dicking around gave me nukes unwittingly, I didn't even know until the resources indicated it to me so i've tried to avoid using the trainer for now. if you see me on the FOB list with nukes again, you know why and are free to take and dismantle them[/sp]
I'm just going to not build [sp]nukes[/sp] at all. They seem like more trouble than they're worth and I'm fine with doing FOB stuff anyway.

Stealing them tends to keep your FOB fairly safe, actually. I don't even attempt to sneak all the way to the main platform and complete the infiltration, I just grab the nukes and a few containers and leave via the wormhole.
What platform are they on, anyway?
Holy shit the subsistence modifier is fun and breathing new life into a game I have 90 hours in. I'd love if I could toggle it for other missions.
i thought i was kidding earlier when i said players get out of stuns faster than a point blank player can fulton them. you literally need to be standing on them for it to work, and sometimes it doesn't because of whatever it is this game calls a netcode. and for some reason yeah, players have a god-mode from stuns after getting up, and they can't be CQC'd while being flashed. this explains why it's a good idea to sprint away from players that you fail to fulton the first time.
its stuff like this that makes me go entirely lethal for defense missions / bring a solid lethal for invasions. it only took two burns for me to reach that conclusion
Range estimation on the PSO-1 like scope actually works
[vid]http://a.pomf.cat/kvgavg.webm[/vid]
For those that don't know, the lines in the left side of the crosshairs are used to estimate how far a human target is. Assuming the target is about 1.7m tall, you line the target up between the lower line and the curve which tells you how big the target should look when they are standing x hundred meters away with x being those numbers along the curve.
What platform are they on, anyway?
Side of the command platform. The reason I choose to go back the way I came usually is because I've left a lot of neutralized guards in my wake, and the climb up to the door on the command platform has a high chance of having me spotted.
What platform are they on, anyway?
Command.
It's actually fairly easy to gun your way past a 4/4 command platform. Just sneakymurder the first, snipe the mortars with a silenced serval or brennan, use the emplaced AA gun that shoots fast, and clear 40% of the rest of the base (make sure to kill other AA installations as well).
[sp]Snake already beat Sahelanthropus once, even if it was damaged then. I haven't looked up the Episode 51 content yet, but from what I understand he intentionally plays off of Eli's hatred and anger to piss him off and make it easier for him to give into blind rage that Venom could exploit. I'm probably wrong though so I should look that up.[/sp]
That might have been true, had it not been for [sp]Eli's impending death via napalm strike that he narrowly avoids thanks to Tretij Rebenok. Venom just kicks him while he's down, not that I'm defending Eli. Nobody could have foreseen what would happen, but it's abuse like this that furthers his rage and causes him to do what he does in the future. It even gets Kaz killed indirectly since Liquid ordered Ocelot to assassinate him.[/sp]

I tend to go full nonlethal on my runs, but carry a suppressed Brennan for dealing with drones, mortars and cameras.
Yeah PSA: you'll need a sniper rifle to destroy UAVs more than you'll need that shield to protect against players. I've finally decided that GL'ing UAVs is not safe enough unless you're already sneaky-murdering your way through the entire base.

I just bring along as little as I can and olive drab, I also bring D-Horse if the mission requires lots of running since there's not much more fun to be had in sprinting an extra 500m to your objective.
So my game just updated, which update is this technically?
Probably just the latest beta going live.

Kind of wish there was a way to tell what version was out because my game still says 1.02
dammit konami
Kind of sucks that the Official Soundtrack is only a Japan import.

$65.5 for it. Jesus fucking christ.
I could go for the iTunes version, but I don't know if it works like Amazon Music. I want to save the songs on my Windows PC and transfer it to my non-iOS devices.
To my knowledge, iTunes will store a physical m4a file on your hard drive that can be transfered to/converted for other devices.
I know Google Play also has a service which stores your iTunes music for playback on other devices.
Absolutely fuck this Lingua Franca mission.
Does anyone else only wear the Naked version of uniforms? Wearing a shirt doesn't feel right...

Check the executable
Properties > Details, I think. Should be there somewhere.
Holy shit the subsistence modifier is fun and breathing new life into a game I have 90 hours in. I'd love if I could toggle it for other missions.
it's insane that it isn't already a toggle for all missions
i feel like the only reason it isnt is because that would mean they couldn't have re-purposed missions into the entirety of chapter 2
the fact subsistence is broken (GMP costs for equipment are still deducted) supports this
