They expect players to play nice, especially on consoles.
Meanwhile there's still little done besides a report system for PC hackers, and knowing our luck they probably won't even have a goddamn anti-cheat on for MGO3 when that finally comes out on PC.
It's okay because if you buy our MB coins we can remove players from your match for you, eliminating the need for anti-cheat

let's not try to force this into yet another meme of anger towards konami
Read those patch notes lol
Literally almost every paragraph sounds like they think you should be grateful they added more paywalls
Can we maybe not have F2P bullshit in the only $60 game I've bought in the last 3 years. Like what the fuck. Does this shit work in Japan without a second thought or something?

Omg we finally agree on something extreme

Konami is just dumb and decided they think mobile is the future. The same reason this is an unfinished and final game is the same reason they think this is a good idea
OK, credit where credit is due tho:
I still think it should be if you don't get spotted/set off an alarm the person shouldn't get notified.
I got assaulted by a cat with a bucket when I was going back to mother base to clean off all that blood :frown:
Actually Support platform is the easiest to invade. Just go around the back to the giant entrance and throw a decoy and then just sneak past the guards. Keep in mind there's usually a guard downstairs that will go up after they get an alert for the decoy use.
Also, do retaliation wormholes open up if you steal a shitload of resources/containers without being detected? EDIT: Oh, read the patchnotes

FOB Insurance, which is literally only protecting the materials and actual staff that aren't on the FOB's security team, more Online Deployments (which were already 'speed this up with paywalls' as it was), and FOB development speed-ups, which is another quick shortcut for expanded forces that everyone was expecting in the first place.
Maybe it's because I've already fully developed my FOB so it's not that big a deal to me, but everything involving FOBs is a bunch of horseshit with MB coins, this shouldn't be surprising at all.

Yeah, basically the current features of MP in MGSV combined with the wording and features in this blog post reveal that: the convoluted and fucky game mechanics seem convoluted and fucky because the developers are misguided idiots, not because we don't understand some grand scheme or can't judge clearly through the lens of our own individual experience.

I also kind of hate the way they can just consistently respawn at the door, making it impossible to finish if he's there.
Should probably give him some lives or something.
So did they say why the PC version of MSO3 is pushed till Jan 2016?

Your argument against thinking konami is even more stupid for this is "because I expected this cuz it's konami"?

Or idk, SOME mechanic other than: enemy player can respawn wherever he wants every 30 seconds without penalty.
Theres a new cheat I've seen in FOB's that make it imposible to defend. It seems they've figured out how to take D Walkers Fulton ballista ammunition and are making it the ammo type for normal guns with no drop off with hex editors.
GG.
They're stupid but we already have one gigantic hate sink directed on them and it should've been expected that they'd try to force MB Coins in to the online facets. I'm saying that trying to rant about MB Coins is just going to get repetitive really quick when there was the whole "OH NO PAYWALLS" debacle before the game's release already.
Level the playing field with FOB infiltration support
Using MB coins you can call in supply drops or make it so the defender is just as vulnerable as you disabling their respawns

The complaints about it was because we had no idea what it was for and it turned out to be "eh"
Now it's literally shit like bypassing losses

Again, only keeps your materials safe and your main Mother Base staff from being taken (which no one liked losing main MB staff, period). The nukes, the materials being copied, the FOB staff, everything else is fair game, and a smart player doesn't need to rely on the unprocessed materials from FOBs in the first place so it's.. kind of pointless really.
No, we're bothered by it now because we know that there is at least one feature in the game - a feature that makes us angry - that exists only to support an F2P economy (undisableable FOBs that are permanently vulnerable).
Yeah plus fuck this update they said it'd make fob more fun so I guess they think giving them money is fun?
I expected defender vs rebalance and was praying for material trading and friend supporting
They've already been like that the past month, with the developers blatantly lying to our faces about them being optional (unless being offline permanently is their idea of optional), MB Coins being needed for more than the initial FOB, intentionally high grinding requirements for some things that can make building notable equipment a culling nightmare without an FOB, and other matters that are clearly intended to exploit the consumer.
I was mainly just opposing people like Beetle ranting about MB Coins as a joke for everything in an annoying matter. The whole system is already fucked, though, and to suddenly act now like they're becoming a problem with Insurance is a goddamn farce.

Maybe. I didn't have the foresight and I know I'm not the only person that intentionally avoided a lot of pre-release material.
I think it's pretty naive to think complaining before would've changed anything
We'd have story DLC confirmed or something if our thoughts ever mattered
Edit:
It's not like no one complained before.
There's a reason both times they announced this with 24hrs left
Especially in the eyes of a rogue Japanese company with exceptionally stingy resources and a proven lack of care for anything but money (even over positive PR).
Plus their stupid companion app doesn't even work with PC
Look what sanctions did to Russia :v:

Apparently you can preload MGO3 on PS4 right now.
I feel like the FOB invasions slow way down once you develop your base enough. I have mostly 3/4 and 4/4 and I think invaders just don't want to bother clearing that many platforms, so I rarely get invaded.
I have a question for those that mod their game; can you have more than 1 mod on at a time, or do they instantly conflict? For example, I have the Get Quiet Back mod, would that conflict with the Hardcore mod or something that changes weapons?

Depends on what all is replacing what. I have Infinite Heaven, although Hardcore would apparently replace the same 01.dat file. To get multiple mods together if they dig into the chunk data, you'd probably have to manually edit the file to get them in there, and I imagine something like getting Quiet back wouldn't interfere with any code but you'd have to look through all of that the hard way.
