After playing for a while, I've kind of warmed up to MGO3. We just gotta give it time. The main thing that made MGO2 so great was the community. MGO2 was a major pain in the ass to start up, so most people just wrote it off, but the people that stuck with it became a family. With MGO3 being easily accessible, a lot of the "CoD dudebros" are leaking in and ruining it for veteran MGO2 players, but once Black Ops 3 comes out, I'm sure they'll fade out.
Are Snake and Ocelot the only Unique Characters in MGO? I was expecting at least Quiet to also be playable, maybe even [sp]Raiden and Volgin[/sp].
I made a thing [t]http://i.imgur.com/REC5nlN.jpg[/t]
Just play Extreme/Subsistence missions or a bunch of side ops and you'll progress the story.
Okay, the new content for Phantom Pain PC Singleplayer is nice. Hopefully, multiplayer is worth the wait.
I wish there was a ponytail option for female characters
That would fall in line with the theme of the game.
wont u speak them to me
I wish there was a ponytail option for female characters
I wish there was a mullet option for the male characters.
From what I have heard male characters have 0 new hair styles in MGO, that is super lame.
So MGO its fun but is lacking which is sad. I love the cloak and dagger one though. Its just capture the flag pretty much but the one people guarding and the other team doing infiltration really feels like metal gear online. The others just are deathmatch and king of the hill which is just kind of meh.
I fultoned a guy with a bounty of like 7 and my helpful teammate decided to unload a mag into him before he could be extracted. I've played for a day and I'm already done with this community.
Same here. In the round we had about 3 tickets left, then I caught a +11 bounty juicy morsel which would have turned the game around. I was literally strapping the Fulton to him when some cunt comes along and unloads in him. That cunt lost us the round!
I am slightly guilty of doing that. A teammate was in the the process of using the fulton on someone and I saw an enemy behind him so I fired off a few rounds.. Managed to kill the guy I was aiming at but as the balloon lifted the other guy up he got caught in the crossfire :frown:
[sp]I'd rather not pay for something I'll never get to use again later in the game.[/sp]
Mods. [Sp]Imagine Venom is seeing Quiet's phantom, idk.[/sp]
I want to believe Comm Control is a variation of Base Mission, but not quite. I'm hoping I can adapt and get as good as I was at Base in MGO2 (I somehow managed to consistently rank within the top 1,000). And Cloak and Dagger? More like Team Sneak[ing] with a change in the object you capture. I actually don't get why they didn't carry over the names? And I fully expect to get a few extra game modes through updates, but also a few through DLC. That's how MGO2 worked, so why expect any different? Let's just hope it all turns of to be worth the price.
How much are they watching your resources? Some of the costs of the new items are pretty high and simple use of cheat engine would save me the grind. I already did most of what you can do in the game and I don't want to burn out myself on resource hunting. (I could just leave most of the items alone because I don't/won't use most of them but the need for having everything developed is strong.)
Developing them didn't really need any form of a grind, just maybe one or two diamond hunting, Da Samsei Laman and Kungena Mine both net nice amount.
I did some calculation and I should be fine, after all I can't accept most of the rewards anymore.
Well some guy that used to invade me got his FOB wiped and as far as I know he wasn't cheating when he invaded me, so he might have been cheating for the resources. I wouldn't risk it either way, getting resources for development doesn't take that long
Is it just me or are the MGO maps we have so far pretty damn boring?
I bet the FOB event is just clever trap to catch cheaters.
Alright heres some tips guys. Diving out of a cardboard box will unmark you. Cardboard box is immune to e-sensor grenades, stun nades and plush traps. Prone rolling is immune to plush traps. Decoys will transfer the mark on you to itself if you are marked. [editline]7th October 2015[/editline] If you see a fucking teammate on the ground knocked out please PLEASE wake them up by kicking them on the ground. Nothing more annoying than sitting there trying to wake up while your teammates stare at you.
i miss patting a guy on the butt to wake them up.
Quick question about MGO3. Do we use a custom emblem like the one in SP or there is just none?
Quick question about MGO3. Do we use a custom emblem like the one in SP or there is just none?
You just play as Team Solid and Team Liquid.
You know what was a genius idea Having Miller's dialogue supersede cassette Tapes So skullface will talk about his master plan and then Miller yells "REALLY SNAKE YOURE BRINGING HIM TOO" like calm down Miller he's African but it's okay
My favorite tacticool helmet is in MGO, all is forgiven... NOT! I just had a host leaving spree. No host migration in 2015, seriously? At least net code is surprisingly great, had almost zero latency issues. It's as if they had Carmack working on net code while not working on everything else.
I just found out that you can accelerate levelling by running around the mother base and increasing the staff's morale.
In fact, the new items in the latest update was actually available as parts before the patch(the 25 rnd nade drum is what I noticed, as I used them in one of my glitched weapons.). So, mark my word that there's going to be an AK-pattern 75-round 5.56mm machine gun in the upcoming months (the parts are there).
Do you know if a barrel with the handguard the AM-69 AAS uses in Ground Zeroes is there too? I don't care about 10,000 round drum mags with instant kill explode-o-bullets or any useful shit like that, I just want my stuff to look cool damn it. How do I get the butterfly emblem? Is there a certain mission where it's easier to get?
How do I get the butterfly emblem? I don't think this 3 consecutive mission trophy thing was very well thought out. Joking aside: basically just spend a few missions only using Quiet to KO things. When Quiet has more neutralizations than you over 3 missions, you'll get the emblem.
