Anybody know extremely fast methods to lower your demon points? I seem to gain them quite fast with the way I play, and the only good method I know of right now is capturing animals as a side activity, but that's a little tedious. Right now whenever I want to lower them I grind the Caracal habitat with capture cages and I tend to capture them more than other rare animals, but even then it's still pretty boring. I've been thinking I should just capture Okapi instead and use checkpoints to force them to respawn.

Be nicer.

White Mamba mission, snatch all those kids.
So I'm desperately looking for the image explaining why big boss is better than solid
It's a reverse of the famous "hero of beating up old slavs in the jungle"
Are the new costumes out on the consoles already?
The new tier 7 NL shotty is pretty painful when your security team gets their hands on it, except non lethal guards still suck donkey balls so why would you ever do this

Bottom note, the amount of time it takes for guards to fulton you seem to depend on how much health you got, so armor+combat rank. Tested with snake & battledress results didn't change too much, but snake + fatigues I got fultoned pretty fast.
...or you could just go lethal and make sure your security team can stop the invader regardless of his fashion sense.
I'm going to keep them on the platforms I least care about for science but if you actually care about security don't ever choose non lethal

Where does this stuff about Kaz being a remarkable racist even come from? :v:
Where does this stuff about Kaz being a remarkable racist even come from? :v:
I'm pretty sure it came from a reviewer with an early copy said that Kaz says the word nigger at some point, which never actually happens or people seeing the clip of Kaz smacking a black kid with his crutch in a trailer & assumed he did it because he's racist

But isn't non-lethal the only option to battle hackers on PC?

Nah, they can kill enemy AI too so they can walk part everything.
So I hear after the update a lot of your stuff is moved to your FOB so if you want to use your resources you have to be online. If you were a hoarder before you're shit out of luck is what I'm hearing. What are the offline limits now?

It seems to store online before storing offline aka one steam maintenance makes you go in red.

Offline limits are same as always, things are just pushed online now to increase the cap of resources you can have.
It seems to store online before storing offline aka one steam maintenance makes you go in red.
So wait, if I get this right. First you have to fill your online cap before you can store your resources offline?
I wish there was a ponytail option for female characters
Yeah, and we already know it's easy to implement seeing as you can play as a girl with a pony tail if she's on your staff
Okay, I consider myself fairly knowledgeable when it comes to MGS story, but there is one thing I don't get regarding the Boss
[sp]Namely, the circumstances of her assassination. Am I right in thinking that the whole conspiracy aspect of it only comes from her actually feigning her defection in order to try and get the Philosopher's Legacy for the US?[/sp]
If there's anything more to it than that, please fill me in because I know that's probably too simple :v:
Alright heres some tips guys. Diving out of a cardboard box will unmark you. Cardboard box is immune to e-sensor grenades, stun nades and plush traps. Prone rolling is immune to plush traps. Decoys will transfer the mark on you if you are marked.

wow shit really? Maybe I should start carrying it again. I stopped carrying it after I learned it doesn't provide armor like in SP.
I don't think this 3 consecutive mission trophy thing was very well thought out. Joking aside: basically just spend a few missions only using Quiet to KO things. When Quiet has more neutralizations than you over 3 missions, you'll get the emblem.
Getting the word Raven for my emblem is gonna be a pain since it drops for killing folks with an MG. Killing the majority means a waste of potential recruits, I dislike MGs and even a minor heroism loss stings since I prefer to go all pacifist.
I get why Raven is granted with MGs but it hardly fits the actual animal.

Wish they would let us perform a "field change" of LMGs and AA guns, to give them rubber bullets like in FOB defense. I hate having a horn-shrapnel longer than my dick.
I still don't get how FOBs could possibly have nonlethal anti-air rounds :v:

that would be so fucking OP though
there's a reason the non-lethal weapons aren't nearly as effective as the lethal ones

[sp]The original plan was for her to infiltrate Volgin's shit and swipe the Legacy. Snake was only really sent in to get Sokolov to sell The Boss' defection so it seemed genuine, I suppose.
I'm not actually sure about that. As far as FOX knew, the Virtuous Mission, to extract Sokolov, was real, but maybe the US had orchestrated it so The Boss would wound Snake and take back Sokolov to get in Volgin's good graces. That's just me spitballing, but I suppose it makes sense.
Anyway, then something happened that no one could have predicted - Volgin nuked the FUCK out of Sokolov's design bureau. The US had to prove it had nothing to do with the nuclear attack. To do that, The Boss had to die at the hands of her most beloved disciple.
That was her duty - her mission.
After EVA's debriefing Snake realized The Boss had been used by the US government and left to die at his hands. This is where he begins working on his dream, a place where soldiers wouldn't be used and discarded.[/sp]
So wait, if I get this right. First you have to fill your online cap before you can store your resources offline?
You don't have to fill the online storage, but only a small portion of your resources are stored locally when you aren't full.
You don't have to fill the online storage, but only a small portion of your resources are stored locally when you aren't full.
Worst part is if you manage to fill local to max you can't fill online via claiming rewards because "full".
...or you could just go lethal and make sure your security team can stop the invader regardless of his fashion sense.
i actually prefer to use non lethal for my FOB, it gets real fucking mean with medium range stuff
also nobody is expecting the base to have NL stuff since 99% of anything is lethal anyways, so when their sleep grenades do literally nothing it's always a pleasure
Where does this stuff about Kaz being a remarkable racist even come from? :v:
Kaz hitting a black kid, and Kaz saying "you're extracting him!?" like the vast majority of the time you extract people therefore also saying that the vast majority of the time you extract black guys.

The whole tone of it is "This innocent soldier was horrifically betrayed, used, and spat out by the evil government guys!". However, The Boss and the people behind the operation to get the legacy would have not wanted that to happen in any way, but would have to do what's necessary. They had to know when getting into black ops at that level, there are so many things that could go wrong. Barring Coldman retroactively taking a cartoonishly evil part in it, everyone did what they had to do to ensure the world wouldn't erupt in nuclear armageddon: those back home devised Operation Snake Eater to defuse the situation, and The Boss had to ride out the defection now that the world's eyes were on her. It was a terrible situation, but no one was really in the wrong besides Volgin for firing the nuke.[/sp]

You have to remember that Snake at the time of MGS3 is a bit of a, for lack of a better word, manchild at this time. They practically forced a 12 year old to kill his own mother.

For all of MGO's issues, it can be damn fun. Now if only automatch would fucking work, 20 gear points per round is awful.
Yeah, why the fuck is GP so grindy?
