Anyone know how to unlock the croc cap in MGO3?
Probably ascension. There's nobody that knows currently.
Does anyone else have a soldier named flaming whale?
Not 100% sure but quite sure one female prisoner is almost always called flaming something.
A remix of Sunny's theme
The sad thing is this is basically what's overtaken the main series theme that isn't Metal Gear Saga from the same game, and it just doesn't have the same memorable notes. You can tell they were trying to emulate it, but simultaneously skirt around it. [editline]9th October 2015[/editline] Also the exact song that was being asked for. Sounds like something quickly whipped up in a music program really.
Something i quickly made, and thought i would share, incase there are some people, like me, who love Yoji Shinkawa art and wanted a matching Steam Grid image.
I have several Flaming X, like Flaming Mustang, my FOB dude.
As a biologist, the thing the bugs me the most about MGSV is how, out of the millions of fucking mind blowing amazing shit going on in the natural world, they chose to make code talker talk about motherfucking archea, and fan-fiction esque copulation/metabolism, which is just about the most mind-numbingly boring part of biology you can imagine (biochemistry, to be precise. the metabolic system is a major part of it. and it makes you wanna kill yourself.)
It's not about being Snake. Basically most people are Infiltrators because they're hands down the most balanced and efficient class to play as thanks to their variety of abilities and equipment. Scouts are in second place because the game recommends them as a beginner class, and their marking and support factors can be quite helpful as well as sniping if a player's good at it. Enforcers are essentially shit, their first grenade launcher can't even kill people with two direct grenade shots without the explicit demolition ability applied to that loadout, their LMGs pale in comparison to the default assault rifle all classes start with, and they also need abilities to have endurance against gunfire - which doesn't spare them or anyone else from instant KO CQC anyway. [editline]9th October 2015[/editline] Okay, so maybe not 'most balanced' for Infiltrators, since it's rather that everyone considers them overpowered.
Scouts take the most skill. You have to learn how to lead your shots and also to be patient.
Apparently S+ boasters are S soldiers so don't hesitate to fulton them.
I play Scout but I feel my play style would have better fit enforcer (run and gun) so I'm asking: is there any more assault rifles you can unlock as Scout or is it just the starting one? I really don't want to start over. Is there an unlock post somewhere online? [editline]9th October 2015[/editline] Because let's face it: snipers suck. People run and gun and it's too hard to lock down a kill with that stuff going on
Because let's face it: snipers suck. People run and gun and it's too hard to lock down a kill with that stuff going on
When MGO comes to PC Sniper will be best one.
When MGO comes to PC Sniper will be best one.
Yeah I can see that but for console third person sniping is too much effort for what you could do much easier with an assault rifle
Yeah I can see that but for console third person sniping is too much effort for what you could do much easier with an assault rifle
Why aren't you aiming with the sniper?
The sad thing is this is basically what's overtaken the main series theme that isn't Metal Gear Saga from the same game, and it just doesn't have the same memorable notes. Still my favorite track.
Why aren't you aiming with the sniper?
Have you tried using sniper from third person? They are as accurate and quite quick to aim via that way.
Guys, what if Mission 51 was cut, not because of it taking too much time, but because it could have been interfering with the franchise's story? [sp]Sahelanthropus's head looks a lot like Rex's from MGS1, let's say that it is infact Rex's head. If Mission 51 was left in, then his head wouldn't be on Rex, as it is completely destroyed, as seen here http://i.imgur.com/JinU8IZ.jpg, but in the actual game, it's not destroyed, it's just busted up a fair bit, easy to repair, as seen here http://i.imgur.com/gUSy0vq.jpg. Liquid, the Kids and Mantis would still have Sahe, and somehow it ended up with Armstech. I thought they could have joined a group or someone gave them money or information for Liquid in exchange for it, but I am not too sure about it. "But Xonax, what if Rex's head was based off of Sahelanthropus and they used blue-prints and Hal's memory and pictures to make it?"...Well that is a good point, but there is another thing holding this theory together. In M51, the English Strain is destroyed...but what if the English Strain helped create FoxDie? In 2000, Liquid and Mantis joined up with Foxhound, in that same year Naomi Hunter also joined Foxhound. In 2003, Foxdie was stuck with a problem and Naomi fixed it, and since this was after the events of MG1/2 when Solid Snake fucked up Naomi's brother, she wanted revenge, and Liquid noticed this, since they share a common interest in Revenge on Solid Snake, they worked together to fix Foxdie, using the English Strain that Mantis/Liquid still had after the events of MGSV. The Vocal Cord Parasites work a lot like Foxdie, in the sense it targets specific stuff in the body, VCP targets the Language, FoxDie targets the Genetic DNA. So they work together and fix up the FoxDie project and get it working. Solid Snake is infected with it and MGS1 happens. Not to mention that they were under orders from The Patriots, and the Patriots wanted a War Economy. Who made the Patriots? Zero, who made Liquid, Solid and Solidus? Who started work on Foxdie? Zero, who started work on VCP? Skull Face, who does Skull Face work for? Zero. It all started with Zero. Anyway that's just my theory, a lot of it does make sense, just not too sure about how Sahe ended up on Rex. It's still interesting.[/sp]
This just arrived, best 1$ I've ever spent. [t]http://puu.sh/kE1vm/35643d9014.jpg[/t]
This just arrived, best 1$ I've ever spent. [t]http://puu.sh/kE1vm/35643d9014.jpg[/t]
I thought it was Kaz for a minute.
I thought it was Kaz for a minute.
I want to get a DD, Kaz, Ocelot & a BB one but I can't bother changing IPs all the time to get the 1$ price. I'm probably never going to use it since its so small but i couldn't resist.
Found this on the subreddit. [t]https://cdn3.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/001/308/195/large/dave-keenan-big-boss-mgsv-poster.jpg?1444080604[/t]

Whether it's cut or not, the two main things you mention are left up in the air because the story isn't really concluded. [sp]Sahelanthropus was likely destroyed as it never appears again. It can't have the same head as REX because it's much smaller and can barely fit a child in there anyway. As for FOXDIE, it's also perfectly reasonable that it was just another bio-engineered disease rather than based on da parasites.[/sp] The plot leaves things too ambiguous to say for certain either way.

How do I unlock the Sahelanthropus head? I know it'll make me easier to spot but I didn't get the CE for nothing
I'm really enjoying this mod. [t]http://i.imgur.com/ocgrmc4.jpg[/t] Here are some more in this album, but linked because spoilers.
So I decided to Emulate Portable Ops and play it cause, I thought "Hey, It's a PSP it probably doesnt have pressure sensitive CQC" and the Grey Fox fights are so underwhelming compared to Python, RAXA, Grumble Master (Cunningham), and Gene.
I tried playing it after essentially finishing peace walker (only got Custom PW and Rathlos)) Oh man, oh man. These controls are so fucked up I do wonder how people played on PSP Scratch CPW, I've just defeated it with a 40 minute long battle [t]http://puu.sh/kE53m/b4b0ab579b.png[/t]
[t]http://puu.sh/kE5sR/ef3399570b.jpg[/t] Damn, the Kotobukiya REX is hardcore. Looks pretty good unpainted as well.

Mine gets stuck on the radio/codec screen after you find the radiation films in the beginning. Tho since nothings popped up when searching for the problem I'm betting it might be buggered. As for PW Controls, No idea how it'd be on a controller :V I just played through it with just my keyboard, the controls I set up were quite nice, and from what I got to play in my emulated peace walker, with the PO control scheme it didn't differ too much, just had to switch a few keys and add an analog limiter but nothing major.
You know what I like about "Sins of the Father?" Its got a "Snake Eater" quality aesthetic to it.
I picked enforcer for my main charachter. Fuck.
