welcome to the world of infiltrators
I love getting to the second round in a comm control match and then when I stun 4 guys who are capturing a point the hosts disconnects. :hammered: Not only did you just waste all of our time in the first round and none of us get any XP or GP, but I wanted to slit all of their necks :s: [editline]10th October 2015[/editline] Everybody has said it but I'll say it again, why does a game in 2015 not have host migration?
Since not much beside FOBs can be done for me in MGSV what's your favourite loadout for the highest secured FOBs? I will probably play FOBs for the materials with attempt to minimize killing. Not really into stealing people.
had phantom pain running for 4h today and didn't get invaded once. so dead.
had phantom pain running for 4h today and didn't get invaded once. so dead.
I got invaded about 10 times in total since the release. I guess 4 platforms with A++ max and no nukes isn't worth the effort (which I don't mind).
had phantom pain running for 4h today and didn't get invaded once. so dead.
Support people.
While Konami wanted the perfect cross platform engine they didn't commit enough to get the best multiplayer engine.
had phantom pain running for 4h today and didn't get invaded once. so dead.
heh, went away to eat and got invaded during that time

Not really into stealing people.
I personally use the Grade 7 silenced non-lethal shotgun, the SERVAL (literally no reason not to with its really good utility; emplacements go down with two shots as well as killing anyone S or below with one shot while also having really high effective range. ontop of this UAV's can be instantly killed by shooting the round thing at the bottom next to its gun) and the last depends. Sometimes I use the riot smg, sometimes I use the automatic 1911 lookalike to blow up antitheft devices, claymores and other shit. I have stun grenades, smoke grenades, active decoys (really good if you're about to be spotted by being surrounded) and the weather resistant box is OP as fuck for versing a defender. You can't CQC people in a box, and it absorbs a fuckin' million hits before shattering, not to mention that YOU can CQC from inside the box. That, and the posters work on guards as well.
Spawning system in MGO is abosolutely horrific, lost count how many times an enemy has spawned right next to me and been able to CQC me while immune?
Hoping they sort all of these very apparent issues with MGO3 for the PC release. The thought alone of hosts disconnecting fucking the game up for everybody else disgusts me, but thankfully the last game I played where that happened was one of the modern Call of Duty games. Hearing all the complaints about balance and stuff is actually making me a little thankful for the PC delay. But goddamn three months.
heh, went away to eat and got invaded during that time
That's because people avoid attacking if they know you're on the game. There's a key that opens steam profiles, you're way less likely getting invaded while actually in the game

I finally finished The Man Who Sold the World and lsitened to all the truth tapes I... I love it guys I love the ending I can't believe I ever bitched about it
I finally finished The Man Who Sold the World and lsitened to all the truth tapes I... I love it guys I love the ending I can't believe I ever bitched about it
Yeah, that was the point for me when I decided I love it too. ^^ It's grown on me.
I finally finished The Man Who Sold the World and lsitened to all the truth tapes I... I love it guys I love the ending I can't believe I ever bitched about it
I disliked it just because it was the whole [sp]first level minus the Volgin chase. The new scenes were great but having to do all that tutorial shit all over again was a pain in the ass. The first time, it was absolutely incredible though and one of the highlights of the game[/sp]
I finally finished The Man Who Sold the World and lsitened to all the truth tapes I... [sp]New Zero is tied with Sociopath Huey for best character revamp[/sp]
Thank you, this information is very useful.
Yeah, I idle a lot for processing and I am always surprised to find I'm not invaded. Only when I turn it off for awhile do I seem to actually get attacked. It sucks because I don't want to make my profile private, but I'd love to fight one sided some more.
Holy hell. Watched "Ep 51" (thank you CE) and good gravy on top that was amazingly cool even for a cutscene that was 30% compelte. I'm right angry that never made it into the final game because it looked like the explosive finale the game was lacking, and gives closure to one of my favorite characters in the franchise. Makes me darn angry like Silent Hills, that will never actually exist.
the [sp]Zero[/sp] tapes are easily the best written in the game. [sp]New Zero is tied with Sociopath Huey for best character revamp[/sp]
Yeah, while I'm pretty disappointed at how the game wrapped up story-wise, [sp]I really liked Zero's portrayal at the end there, especially compared to my expectations. Seeing how Peacewalker ended, I figured TPP was gearing up Zero to become THE ULTIMATE VILLAIN who controls the whole world and is omniscient. I would have hated that character trajectory, having the big bad guy being your quirky support boss from MGS3 just with a ton of money.[/sp] [sp]Instead, he's just had his ideas for how to improve the world, and had it break away from him and spiral out of his control, in terms of Skullface and the Patriots AIs. He was still a friend of Big Boss and cared for him, even if they had their differences, and he still did some awful things, like the vocal cord parasites. But man, he just ended up in a much better place for me than in MGS4/Peacewalker.[/sp]
Man I hate him so much. That voice, that accent... those weird pecs and the long blonde hair And his attitude... I must commend the VA in MGS1 for giving him a performance making him easier to hate. And I mean that in a good way, a compliment to his VA. I bet if he wasn't available that Baker could've done an older liquid if it was necessary, his Loki sounds similar
gotta say tho, I wish the final Truth Tapes weren't tapes... would've prefferred some classic MGS "you finished the game? half an hour of cutscene time"

Almost figured out how to wield lethal weapons in MB. There are still some problems though. [t]http://i.imgur.com/qfWRmpp.jpg[/t] Also removed one line in one of the LUA files and now the entire MB staff is hostile to me. [t]http://i.imgur.com/kOjahB9.jpg[/t] I still can't kill any MB staff without getting a game over, even if they are hostile. I just modded the MB freeroam mission files to do this. Hopefully this can get more interest in mission modding.
I feel like even at 2 chapters the game was excessively long, so god knows what 5 would be like, although I'd hope that 90% of the filler missions would be replaced with story based ones
I feel like even at 2 chapters the game was excessively long, so god knows what 5 would be like, although I'd hope that 90% of the filler missions would be replaced with story based ones
Supposedly kojima said something about doing some story thing only a game could, and there's a chapter 3 file ingame linked to fob nukes, we can only hope.. Edit: specifically it's theorized chap 2 is a ruse and 3 is our true thing. I wanna see the epilogue the most. Imagine... An unwinnable boss fight with Solid...

The game is paced fairly well through chapter 1, it's 2 where it turns into mostly filler and starts feeling too long.
