ghosting is not touching anything except your mission goal, leaving no trace of your presence whatsoever
Also counts if you make everyone else a ghost too, leaving no trace of their presence too :v:
I hate that the game makes me feel bad for being a ghost.
You know what I really miss? The Big Boss camo from MGS4. Oh and the solar gun. SUNLIGHT!
You know what I really miss? The Big Boss camo from MGS4. Oh and the solar gun. SUNLIGHT!
Try the chicken hat. Different reaction though.
Where I'm going, I don't need to reload. [sp]100 round magazine is OP, I shouldn't use it but this guy was majorly pissing me off, using stealth camo and suppressed machine guns to kill everyone[/sp]
Wait, he was using stealth camo in an fob raid? ??
Wait, he was using stealth camo in an fob raid? ??
Yup. Hence why I was getting pissed off.
Yup. Hence why I was getting pissed off.
Report his ass, one of my friends might have actually had luck with that, a hacker who invaded him, all of his stats just disapeared online and his logo was reset to default a while after he reported him, so his fob may have been wiped... Or it could be the servers just doing their thing. Wouldn't hurt though.
Just for the hell of it I tried to use the MRS and a 100 round drum magazine to recreate the Patriot. Combine that with the [sp]Infinity Bandanna[/sp] and viola. Unfortunately there's not many good parts for it (no short stock, no proper M16-style top sight/handle, and no proper ribbed short barrel that isn't an SVG, which just doesn't quite work with the aesthetic). It also doesn't help that although you can make a blatant AK47/74/74u/RPK lookalike with the SVG, and same with the UN-ARC for an FN Fal, the MRS is based on the FN FNC and thus may not be suitable for everyone's tastes. Especially since it replaces the iconic AR/M16/M4 'main assault rifle' tradition of the series, including literally being the replacement for the M16/M4 in more recent promotional artwork.
I actually don't like how much in favor FOB missions are for the defender. You thought getting past 4 platforms with the armament settings maxed out all with A-Rank soliders? Try it with someone who either has a full auto shellgun or a semi-auto grenade launcher. Oh, and he respawns 30 secconds after he dies should you get lucky and actually kill him too. You don't, though. One thing I found that helps however is that you can spray a bit with the helicopter minigun. Use it to pick off a few drones and hopefully down a gaurd. Afterwards they be all "hey wtf a guy died" but wont be able to trace it to you. You'll raise the alert, sure, but you most likely have 4 platforms to clear.

It doesn't matter how good you are, outside of cheating they're going to see you coming down that bridge even if you're just trying to get to the ladder down to take the underpath, and they're going to mark you.
Also counts if you make everyone else a ghost too, leaving no trace of their presence too :v:
no it literally doesn't. :what: that's just being stealthy if you're tranqualizing people or knocking them out or whatever you're not ghosting
How do they actually react if you kick them far away from their weapon? Do they try and cqc you, or just leg it?
They magically pull out a pistol even if you disarmed them of one already, or try to knife you.
How do they actually react if you kick them far away from their weapon? Do they try and cqc you, or just leg it?
They use a sidearm. [editline]24th September 2015[/editline] Ninja'd
Whats the newest patch for?
They magically pull out a pistol even if you disarmed them of one already, or try to knife you.
it's fucking hilarious to just use the disarm CQC maneuver (press aim while doing CQC punches) on someone constantly, just have them draw out an infinite amount of guns as you take each one away from them also a huge, disappointing oversight

Yeah, fuck the road you were literally just driving on. This exact patch of dirt that Snake is hiding in is much more interesting. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/686027878081617899/89F0F90D7BFCB1A3984510EB463E4532A2ECB3E7/[/t]
I feel like the Hand of Jehuty has limited use. The range is very short and the other arms seems to be better at dealing with enemies.

Too many times the enemy goes into caution alert, and as i'm sneaking around the side of a building I can tell that someone I marked is rushing straight for the building corner i'm at to 'conveniently' bother me without actually knowing i'm there.

This was just an amusing (not for me until 5 minutes later) case of pathfinding or a misplaced scripted waypoint.

It's not nearly as bad in this one though. So distractions work.
All main missions completed, all sideops accomplished, and overall I'm satisfied with my experience (though I'm sure to play more as time goes on). Not gonna lie, [sp]I tried to download and use one of those trainers (for personal use only), though sadly it seems to not work. I'll try it again after disabling my firewall (if that's what's causing it), but I'm honestly not too mad about it not working.[/sp]
I feel like the Hand of Jehuty has limited use. The range is very short and the other arms seems to be better at dealing with enemies.
And it seems to just decide when it wants to work even if you are within range. I just use it to mess around but it's not as great as I thought it would be.
And it seems to just decide when it wants to work even if you are within range. I just use it to mess around but it's not as great as I thought it would be.
Last time I used it the effective range was 20 meters. All the others fully upgraded work way further and can usually take out multiple enemies. 30-40 meters would be more useful.

Also if they are doing that just kill all the soldiers and steal resources. Aggressive defenders are a might harder.
Does the Hand of Jehuty actually do the Beyond the Bounds tune? I remember it did that in the FOB demonstration but I've never heard it in-game.
