tbh not really
Not a whole lot but it looks much more enjoyable than others imo.
Might be unpopular opinion time but I'll share the review I wrote on Steam here:
"If it was just Chapter 1 (and actually explained why Big Boss turned Bad Boss) for $30 this would be one of the best fucking games ever.
But $60 for Chapter 1 and Chapter 1+/-(???), just leaves you empty.
I'm surprised that there was even supposed to be more chapters, and I felt like Skull Face was so short lived.
The game doesn't understand when it needs to stop, it just keeps trying to push farther when it just fucking can't.
I'm not saying I'm ripped off, I'm just saying I feel very hollow about it.
TL:DR MGSV The Phantom Pain is great up until you finish the first chapter, then it just feels like it’s bled dry of what it has. It feels like it’s trying to continue something that has no direction. It’s missing a complete third chapter and it failed to even explain why Big Boss went Bad Boss, something it fucking promised. I want to cry. It fucked my shit up like I asked, but not in the way I wanted it to. It is video game fondant."
I'm still going to finish the game just see if I still feel the same, but right now I'm just very disappointed in Kojima Productions.
[sp]So with the avatar creation, I made my guy blind in the left eye. Snake is blind in the right.
I'm surprised the game didn't force me to play blind.[/sp]

Other way around but ya.

I always hated that he alerted you to snipers. If I see a reticle on my screen, I KNOW it's a sniper.

you get shot out of nowhere
two seconds later
BOSS GET DOWN
wish we could customize the idroid guidance, i want the weather sound notifications but nothing else and the game wont let that happen
I just turned it off entirely, Burke is great but I could not handle hearing her voice all the time.
(MISSION 43 SPOILS) [sp]I'm kinda glad I missed her saying "A staff member has died" a bunch of times though ;_;7[/sp]

hazy eyes doesn't mean blind, it means cataracts.

I...does this actually work? Does the AI detect there's a smoke grenade over you and completely ignore you as a result? I need to try this tomorrow.

god what
So am I the only person that doesn't like all the covers that Donna Burke did of all the past MGS vocal songs? I love the other stuff Donna did, but all those covers just kind of fall flat imo.

AI doesn't actually see the smoke effect but rather the grenade itself and anything within a certain range of that grenade is automatically made impossible to spot is my guess.
okay i just rolled past the [sp]extreme sniper skulls[/sp] no problem with that trick
all i can say right now is :incredible:
idk the mission to get Code Talker was not a problem for me
Mostly because I went a certain route with all the cracks you can climb. Easy fuckin money.
Does that trick work with D-Walker, and if so, what weapons keep stealth with it?
i'd assume not, since you need to have an area on the vehicle (jeep/truck flatbed) for the grenade to stay in
So after replaying the final chapter one mission over again and seeing the ending, [sp]Quiet is completely gone because I already cleared Mission 45.[/sp] I hate how binary they were about Quiet to the story, considering [sp]her seeming death/departure is literally like an off switch that removes every trace of her to exist besides your tapes, even retroactively.[/sp]

They should've made it so even after[sp]Quiet leaves, she still randomly shows up to help you out every now and then.[/sp]

At first I got my ass shot up in the forest and got pissed.
Then I found the cracks. All I have to say is woooooooooooooow that's fucking easy.
