[Sp]That's just a dude who looks like him from the back though, Big Boss went through the door on the right. The rest are easily explained fakeouts as well.[/sp]
[sp]You're right! Had to watch it again to be sure. Sneaky. He's still stabbed, burned, and shot, though. None of these injuries seem to phase him, and all traces of them disappear pretty quick. Must've had some healing spray left over from GZ.[/sp]
Can we all agree the few new characters introduced in MGSV (GZ and TPP) were way, way better than the characters introduced in MGS4? [sp]MALE.[/sp] [sp]TO.[/sp] [sp]FEMALE.[/sp] [sp]TRANSFORMATION.[/sp]
The only new characters in MGS4 of note that weren't the B&B Corps were literally Sunny, Drebin, and those two guys no one cares for in the Rat Patrol. So it's really not a fair comparison.
[sp]I was skeptical because Ishmael gets shot in the trailer and then magically reappears to save Venom. I thought there was some imaginary friend stuff going on. Turns out the explanation was just *fart noise*. Seriously, BB dies and/or is gravely wounded like 5 times in the hospital mission. What's the dealio? Judging by the original Phantom Pain trailer, the whole mission was probably pretty close to being finished back in 2012. I'm pretty sure Ishmael was not supposed to be BB originally.[/sp]
[sp]Most notable is the part where he's clearly shot dead in the corridor only to reappear in the doorway beside Venom, what's up with that? I'm still confused as to why he inexplicably has two eyes and no beard, his face is clear enough to see he doesn't look like Big Boss either. It's a cheap way of throwing the player off and there's no explanation.[/sp]
So I'm trying poorly to make old solid snake [thumb]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/686027878083893731/8596DB99B2B49CDCBB30FF9944706AC0E9FDB186/[/thumb] I just wish it looked the same in game... Really just Skeletor and The New $5.00 McCodeTalker because Quiet's barely a character.

Not to mention only going into a coma from a chopper collision instead of dying when he was already probably harmed by the explosive shockwave from Paz, even if the Medic took the worst of it (including the shrapnel). A knife in the shoulder, some burns that seem to not be too serious if they only charred his clothing, and some gunfire that knocks him out but didn't seem to actually hit him alongside a window shattering in his face followed by a car crash are nothing in comparison.[/sp]

And the whole 'Venom Snake is a fake' was planned at the very least way back in 2013, just listen to the "Not Your Kind of People"[/sp]
Quiet put an end to his torment.
With her stun bullets?
Man Snakes bandana in Peace Walker is so stylish In the cutscenes
Where's a good place to get unprocessed common metal besides OKB Zero? It's a pretty long run from the LZ to where cargo containers are kept there.
Go to the mission where you rescue [sp]Huey, starts right after the cutscene where you first see Sahelanthropus[/sp] Go into the area where [sp]Sahelanthropus[/sp] was, there are a bunch of containers on top of the platforms, get them with wormhole fulton Enable stealth camo and sprint out of the base until you see the save icon, that's when your fultons finish Restart mission EDIT: You might actually get minor metal from doing this, I forgot, I know you get fuel resources and precious metal
Is there anyway to clear the settings for the custom weapons you made?
True but all of the characters in MGSV, even the returning ones, make up a pretty weak cast really.
Is there anyway to clear the settings for the custom weapons you made?
No, but you can just override it with another one.
S+ and S++ don't appear in the wild, you'll only find them in missions or get them via FOB stuff
I dunno why this guy is being disagreed with, someone posted the lua scripts for this on reddit and it's correct. S+/S++ only come from volunteers, conscripts can only get it through service medals and morale boosts.

Good to know.
So in short, A++ is the best you can come across often enough in the field. Good to know.
You can get lots of S ranks in the field, I think it goes as high as 30%. It's tied to the sum of your unit levels.
So when is the new outfits coming?
[sp]You're right! Had to watch it again to be sure. Sneaky. He's still stabbed, burned, and shot, though. One week later he was sent on a mission where he -at the very least- had his hand stepped on by a horse, got attacked by a cloud of hornets, shot with a poisoned crossbow bolt, beaten and electrocuted by Volgin, had his eye burned by a muzzle flare, nearly drowned getting washed down a river, and survived a motorcycle accident. Not even counting injuries he can take while the player is controlling him And at the end of it he looked a little bit tired. You think getting hit in the shoulder with a knife or knocked back in an explosion will kill him?[/sp]
I think my biggest gripe with the gameplay is this. [vid]http://webm.host/72ab5/vid.webm[/vid] There's so many spots in the world that do this and it's just annoying.
I think it's suffice to say that [sp]Big Boss[/sp] is the giver of no fucks unless it's about [sp]The Boss[/sp] or nukes, because everyone flips their shit about nukes in metal gear

Hmm.[/sp]
(Spoilers obv) [sp]Given that Big Boss wears his eyepatch but the story doesn't really explain if the avatar's eye is functional as Venom or not, i'm not the only one that's bothered by the complete lack of accessories for the SP avatar like an eyepatch for either eye, am I?[/sp]
You should play MGS3 then. You get debriefing and tons of other things from him.
Not the same voice actor. They recast.
[sp]And after all of that, plus his increasingly dangerous exploits against super soldiers and giant robots the message of MGSV is that anyone can be Big Boss. Hmm.[/sp]
[sp]To be fair MGS2 showed that anyone can be made to be like Solid Snake if they go though what he went though, with the right conditions. And Operation Snake Eater was just as much of a set up as the Big Shell Incident, just with the CIA and KGB manipulating events to stop Volgin and kill The Boss instead of AI trying to prove their system worked.[/sp]
