[sp]Why wouldn't he be? I mean he was a MSF soldier before TPP anyway[/sp] [editline]26th September 2015[/editline] why is venoms horn black anyway, what kind of shrapnel is that
[sp]the paz's charred pubic bone kind[/sp]
btw if anyone wants to recreate the SOCOM in V, I have a template here: [t]http://i.imgur.com/GshlCyu.jpg[/t]
Going completely nuclear on mission 30 is very likely my favorite part of this game
86% here. S ranked all default missions, I think I'm missing one S rank on the extra missions. Sadly I still have to do a lot of tasks. Maybe I could use that time to capture some animals. And still 11 hours left to build my nuke. I got couple of gameplay comments: It's a shame they didn't think of giving Venom the ability to put on the DD uniforms and masks. Venom is still the best if he has all those hand upgrades. Why must developing a nuke take so much time I will never understand. Is it actually true it can destroy an FOB? Same goes for the "story"/important missions you send your troops on. Why put 2+ hours on them and give them a pretty high probability of failure? Why not make it so until you don't have the proper items you can't activate it and when you do it actually completes?
Is there a way to unlock the barrel that the AM-69 AAS from Ground Zeroes uses? I can't see any variants of the MRS-4 in TPP that use that barrel.
[sp]I think it's implied in MGS4 that Zero loses control of the AI due to his ailing health, the tapes in MGS5 is the beginning of this.[/sp] That's how I saw it.
Huh? I'm talking about [sp]how MGS3 says in 1971 the American Philosophers became The Patriots, Poops has Ocelot talk to Zero about becoming The Patriots, and MGS4 has EVA talk about how together they were The Patriots. Then in PW Cipher is revealed as another name for both Zero and The Patriots, and in TPP they're just called Cipher but Zero claims Donald Anderson has created AIs called The Patriots. So in other words the Snake Eater group were called Cipher - not The Patriots - even though we were told otherwise and The Patriots is just the name of the AIs.[/sp] It's an odd contradiction, it just causes confusion.
We need to try and make a comic based on MGSV.
btw if anyone wants to recreate the SOCOM in V, I have a template here:
Retconning the SOCOM, SAA and the rest feels like goddamn heresy. "Tornado-6, the finest handgun in the world..." [editline]26th September 2015[/editline] I don't even want to know what non-copyright abomination Meryl uses now.
I like how the whole series hypes up CQC to be this amazing style of fighting, yet ingame it's just punching/kicking and grabbing dudes.
Which in reality is all ancient japanese jiu jitsu adapted for modern situations.
btw if anyone wants to recreate the SOCOM in V, I have a template here: [t]http://i.imgur.com/GshlCyu.jpg[/t]
Its a nice try, but its not nearly big enough the socom is huge.

I'm having a lot of fun trying to semi-stealthily clear bases with an unsilenced pistol in under 5 minutes. [sp]If I do become a demon do the effects carry over to other soldiers?[/sp]
Ocelot in V is for all intensive purposes just a random diamond dog He has literally no aspects of ocelot personality
I dunno, the cutscene where he gives a random DD soldier the same monologue that Snake gave to him in MGS3 about using a revolver was pretty cool.
Also, (Ending spoilers) [sp]when did Ocelot use the hypnosis on Venom? I'm trying to figure out when that would have been possible but it's not making much sense. Unless during the 9 years he was able to wake him, hypnotize him, then make him forget, I don't see how it works.[/sp]

It's just easier to explain it as hypnosis. [/sp]
So wait, are you telling me except for the achievement there is no reward for 100%? I just did all S ranks and got the last secret item. I mean, GZ had no real reward, too, but that game is way shorter. At least I can equip anything to do those tasks since I don't have to care about ranks at this point.
It's a question that's probably been asked before, but could I play this game having never played the series before? The open world stealth gameplay is what's really appealing to me.
It's a question that's probably been asked before, but could I play this game having never played the series before? The open world stealth gameplay is what's really appealing to me.
yes but many story related things will go right over your head.
It's a question that's probably been asked before, but could I play this game having never played the series before? You will not understand many story related things or just vaguely, but nothing will hinder you to enjoy the gameplay
It's a question that's probably been asked before, but could I play this game having never played the series before?
[sp] I assumed that by hypnosis he actually meant using subliminal suggestion and that sort of stuff while he was asleep. It's just easier to explain it as hypnosis. [/sp]
They say [sp]they read him Snake's mission files while he was in a coma. I assumed it was simply suggestion while in the coma being enforced by being told he was Snake when he woke up.[/sp]
Let's destroy Salahentropus will never be a thing and I'm sad about it
there's like barely any material anyway 4 or PW would be infinitely better candidates
there's like barely any material anyway 4 or PW would be infinitely better candidates
4 has too much information to condense into a comic I think it's best it stopped with 3
Isn't the first rifle stronger?
Yes, but barely more than the second. Also, the second is semi-auto. This gun is like the 4th ending. When you unlock it, you win.
about underhand throws one page later, if you aim above the horizon snake automatically overhands it you have to aim at the ground
that's because we didn't really need MGSV either Kojima just changed a bunch of already established things and created more questions without answering anything
It's been said a hundred times already, but what i really wanted was a game that closed the loop and explained how Big Boss went from Peace Walker to Metal Gear 1. Like not just explained how he gradually got more morally ambivalent, but also explained such weird things like, how the hell did the notorious mercenary Big Boss became the leader of FOXHOUND. The origin of Big Boss from the original games has already been entirely retconned by MGS3 so, there's literally no information on how the hell that happened despite him being the leader of a notorious mercenary army with nuclear strike capabilities. Twice. And with the cold war against Cipher/The Patriots as well, it's pretty strange.
