It's not only going to be boring, but RNG-based from what I heard; sometimes the guards won't quite be in the right positions to initiate the conversations, sometimes they'll walk up and not talk, and so much as initiating a small caution-alert or managing to distract the wrong person with noise can either waste a lot of time or outright cancel a conversation from happening.
Oh trust me, I know it's gonna suck. I was just doing the Lingua Franca mission and the last conversation triggers only when you are about 30-40 meters away. I quickly paused the game because I sneaked through the whole mission and now the guards just stood above the prisoner and stared at him. Check the internet and luckily someone discovered how to solve it. Without it I'd probably struggle way too long with this mission. Oh yeah, don't touch or alert anyone during this mission, stealth camo helps a lot.
Me and FT did something. Spoiler alert just to make sure. [sp]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/51361672/Owlface.jpg[/sp]
Just encountered my first hacker, spawned in, everyone knocked out, knew exactly where I was and quit. Of course, being a complete pussy he made his name non-existent, why doesn't steam let me find the accounts of these hackers through the recent games list? What's the point of this report thing if hackers can just remove their name?
So that it's harder to know exactly when your enemy is online. When my name was "naked espionage man" I was ONLY attacked when offline. Now it's bird and it's 50/50. Dumb anecdote yeah, but that's why. [editline]27th September 2015[/editline] Ofc on consoles for some reason this isn't so.

I just spent like two hours fumbling my way around the Backup, Backdown mission in search of the Cybernetics specialist, going through multiple camps, examining multiple different prisoners, getting caught multiple times, consistently being late and seeing "Prisoner Died" pop up in the corner. Finally, I found the fucker stumbling around near Outpost 15 getting chased by guards and happily extracted him, relieved to have finally found him so I can develop more shit. Arrive back in my helicopter and try to develop shit, and it tells me I have no Cybernetics specialists. I go look for him in my personnel database. Auto dismissed. :tableflip: I then began looking further down the list to discover a lot of my other specialists were auto dismissed as well. :blaze: Fuck everything.
first time this dude invaded me his emblem said "butterfly alive" now it says "butterfly dead" :(
I don't think I can say in good conscious MGSV is disappointing It has a few things I wanted missing (Jaeger and wolf) but it's not a deal breaker The plot is compelling and all of chapter 1 is pretty great Chapter 2 has more grinding but I have not touched another video game since September 1st and I'm still having fun playing this stupid game so I think it's safe to say it ain't a dissapointment
I'm still refusing to change my butterfly emblem for a good reason.
I might be doing something wrong but I can't find the video; I'm wondering if you guys have any link to that video titled something like "Metal Gear American Stealth" where someone achieves the very early com destruction campaign mission entirely within the chopper, getting an S rank for "perfect stealth". I'd be grateful if one of you guys could find it again, I have no luck on my side...
I'm pretty much completely satisfied with phantom pain personally. I even liked the ending, though I do feel like the repeat missions were just there as filler. All I really want is to be able to mess around in Metal Gear Online now, and hopefully it lets you use your MGO avatars in single player too.
Am I the only one who kinda wish that MGSV as a whole had that kinda surreal and dreamlike feeling that the prologue mission has? The only other mission that had that kind of feeling was [sp]Episode 43: Shining Lights, Even In Death and the ending cinematic.[/sp] Maybe the trailers where kinda misleading but I was expecting a lot more weird and surreal imagery in the game and was kinda let down by how ordinary the rest of the game feels in comparison.
Question, if you develop a nuke can you destroy it by yourself? You know just to get achievements.

It's hard to tell how much of the filler in the game was supposed to be there.
I will say I wish the Camp Omega mission was still a thing. Just to mess around and free roam there with postgame gear.
Question, if you develop a nuke can you destroy it by yourself? It's kinda sad seeing every third post here is weeping over the game. Meanwhile I wasn't on the deep end of Metal Gear franchise and I enjoyed Kojima's wild ride. MISSION 48 SPOILERS Also 4th bug I encountered [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/tftubi.webm[/vid] [sp]I sneaked past the Skulls through the right cliff and then went into code talker's room. There were no cutscenes and he was just sitting there but I couldn't pick him up. So I killed him to restart the mission[/sp] :v:
Why would you build nukes?? Just steal them...
The achievement.

Like, I get it, maybe Venom just isn't as talkative as BB or whatever, but it's still a huge disappointment. I was genuinely looking forward to Keifer's take on Snake, and what little we did hear of him was great. The "you're all diamonds" speech was great. That scene where he's finally face to face with Skull Face just took it to a ridiculous extreme. Also Ocelot was pretty boring. He was "cool" I guess, but he's always been flamboyant and theatrical, and that just isn't represented here. Also Eli was underused, but that's obviously due to the cut mission 51.[/sp] Even so, I fucking love this game. It's already the second most played game on my eleven year old steam account. It's easily one of my favorite games ever. I just wish I could say it's because of the story.
Oh hey would you look at that, 1 mil heroism :toot: I don't know why but I expected something to happen, I should stop expecting things from this game
Not mine so not my fault about compression :v:
Absolute Ledge Archbishop of Banterbury

Yeah but that's Miller all the time in MGSV.
I quite like how Miller is the Fun Police since it sets up a dislike from the player, like how Big Boss is separating from Miller The funny thing is too most of the time he's in the fucking right Quiet is an [sp] assassin, who works for XOF you bringing her back[/sp] was a legimately bad idea but the player has seen enough trailers to know not to listen to Kaz
Hey Dick, [SP].
Apparently it was because of that and, supposedly, companies "frown on" parody works. AKA they're fucking dumb.
Especially since she went full on tumblrite and her actual original content looks nice, but has ridiculous hackneyed writing. [sp]Almost like a Metal Gear game OH SNAP[/sp] Come on guys, it was a jooooke. Don't treat me like Huey!
