Also , good God, missions 30 and 31 prove Kojima can be a goddamn wizard when he wants to
[sp]skullfaces monologue as they stared each other down, and God Skullfaces execution was powerful as it was grotesque, talk about vengeance
Then flashing from crippled to GZ, goddamn
And Kazs final speech was genuinely sad. The comic relief has his life taken from him.[/sp]
I'm worried because that was so final and good I don't esnt chapter 2 to sour my mouth
Watching a video of what happens if [sp]you kill quiet. Uploader left this whopper of a comment:
"Replay the mission, drain her health bar or stamina. Walk up to her like I did and resist the natural urge to shoot a naked woman in the tits until Snake puts down the gun. Then carry her to the chopper."

[sp]The scowling Kaz covered in blood as he bares his teeth unnerves me each time.[/sp]
just think of chapter 2 like an epilogue and not an entire chapter and it's all (still not very) good
why hasn't anyone swapped in the Kojima model? like kojima as Quiet?
why hasn't anyone swapped in the Kojima model? like kojima as Quiet?
Well, there's this at the very least, albeit it's kind of just an MGS1 Costume replacement.
Which reminds me that Kojima's model in TPP is reused from GZ, and [sp]the mission where you rescue him is literally the same cutscene animations thoroughly as Miller's rescue.[/sp] Reeks of far more laziness compared to the whole mission for him in GZ.
I made a thing.
Ground Zeroes Spoilers

[sp]Has anybody tried to successfully recreate the MSF medic's face as portrayed during Ground Zeroes on the player avatar customization feature? I know the face is more meant to be as way for the player to insert themselves, but I would personally find it easier to immerse myself with what little of his 'official' face players managed to uncover in the cutscenes of GZ since you don't even play the real Big Boss.[/sp]
Ending spoilers
[sp]so is there any reason why the medic in ground zeroes needed kiefer's pitched down voice? Why/how do they have the same voice?[/sp]

[sp]I think it's to excuse the fact that BB and Venom sound the same (they can brainwash but heavily altering ones voice is too much). Or maybe they were just giving very obvious hints. Can only speculate.[/sp]
I did it! Thanks to whoever told me about the LZ near the cave.

I was not expecting to actually get a S. Especially since I, erm... led Pequod to his doom and he blew up with 5 of the kids in it because I called him a little too early. That's why I got no retry bonus. Then Mission 19 was a walk in the park.

Its the Zadornov missions of MGSV- inklings of story you get after beating the main game, despite not being built for that purpose.

[Sp]Ground Zeroes is what went down in Venom's head, which may or may not have been like how the scenario actually happened. Hell, it was probably part of TPP after you pick up Kaz, but they cut it from the game because Konami.[/sp]

When you find a soldier with less than an S-rank and don't feel like wasting a bullet.
I finally beat the game. Took me 116 hours. Loved it. Absolutely a 10/10 to me. I feel at odds with everyone because I'm completely satisfied by the story and loved the ending and how it all came together, but that's fine. Now to do the rest of the side ops.
You know, we all figured it'd happen but after looking at MGS4 again, I realize that MGSV has an extreme lack of gunporn.

Losing the real guns just to enable some halfarsed weapon customisation wasn't really worth it imho. Is there any good reason why I absolutely should have a possibiltiy to stick a not-AKS-74U barrel on my not-FAL? Instead of simply having the guns stay the same and just slap on stuff like MGS4. Sure, maybe enable barrel lenght and stock swaps but there's plenty of options there as well.

mission 18 is really lenient with the S rank
I think the only thing that actually bores me in this game is mine clearing side ops.
Why are there so many of these?

i'm an idiot that cannot read

Really? I felt those were pretty okay and it's one of the least potent side op plus all you do is pick/destroy couple of mines. Come back after you do all the armored vehicle and tank ops.
I learned that D-Walker's Gatling Gun can take down a chopper, but is pretty much useless against a tank.
And then had an entirely blooded face to show for it because the tank's machineguns literally didn't even hit D-Walker, just exclusively my face.

I find blowing shit up and stealing vehicles more fun than hunting for small objects concealed under grass repeatedly.

For some reason, pretty much everything is useless against a tank except mines, EM mines, poop mines, and the cluster javelin.
Fulton's are the best weapon against tanks.
Doesn't the D-walker have a weapon specifically made for destroying tanks?

I dunno, my rocket launcher i'm using (the second one you make) takes three shots to put it into flaming and four to completely destroy it. Since I glitched my rocket launcher into a 100 shot silenced railgun, that makes tanks a walk in the park if I bring it along. But I can see why that'd be completely cumbersome to use in a legitimate fight, especially since I went with the cluster missiles (CGM?) in Mission 45 myself.
It's like Otacon said in MGS4, don't ever take on a tank head-on. But at least I can toss down a smoke or evade their shit and then fulton them for an instant elimination rather than blow them up if need be.

Rockets, yeah, but I wasn't packing those this time.
[editline]28th September 2015[/editline]
Infact out in side-ops and other missions tanks seem downright lethargic compared to the sniper accuracy aggressive bullshit they pull in 45.
Just PSA: those missiles (ATGMs) tgat D-Walker gets are CONPLETELY useless.

Yeah, it's called the fulton launcher.
