I meant the actual unedited sequence itself
Since this game has a lot of cut content it's possible that Sins of the Father was originally going to play in a completely different scene that was cut so they just quickly rewrote the Jeep scene with the song in mind.
Killed an enemy FOB guy by sticking a load of c4 on my guards asses and hiding on the upper walkway and let him CQC them, Boom! didn't expect that did you mother fucker!
Apparently if you do FOB training on someone else's FOB they can still come to defend and kick your shit in. What the hell, I just wanted to practice. :T This isn't even a real invasion.
Time to get rid of this Stoya avatar after about 3 years. Can't resist Quiet avatar.
but so does just about every other item, that makes no sense also, [sp]venom snake[/sp] survived mg1 and I KNOW IT
nah man i still consider this the most cannon ending http://imgur.com/qUHXy5n

These later side-ops with the Armored Units and Tank Units are really fucking annoying. It feels less fun and less like options to experiment with, and more like an excuse for the devs to pepper the area with three or more snipers, mortars conveniently everywhere, and a vehicle at some sort of angled location that makes it hard to approach if you happen to alert the area. After some frustration i'm literally just cheesing this shit with the Stealth Camo prototype and i'm still having to deal with snipers somehow getting all psychic and detecting me behind them when the normal enemies only react to my footsteps before I CQC/hold them up.
I think actually felt my heart sank upon seeing they had a working, seemingly relatively easy to use level editor that didn't make it into the game. I mean obviously it probably didn't have a full UI and everything, wasn't ready to be put in the final game but seeing it get that close. I'm sorta sad.
Im pretty sure this was never ever going to be intended for public use. IIRC they were very stern with the Fox Engine being used by professional companies only that Konami licensed to. We werent ever getting a planned level editor.
[sp]I think it's to excuse the fact that BB and Venom sound the same (they can brainwash but heavily altering ones voice is too much). Or maybe they were just giving very obvious hints. Can only speculate.[/sp]
[sp]Its a meta reason. If they had Hayter be big boss while Kiefer was venom, it would be *VERY* obvious.[/sp]
A fight against "Big Boss" as Solid, with everything you've done prior as "Big Boss" being used against you.
That's all I truly wanted.
or just remake the entire first Metal Gear as the epilogue. Though do you really want to see Solid Snake kill D-Dog?
Yes, because: Men become demons...
If anything that'd turn us into demons, not Big Boss or Solid Snake Unless Big Boss suddenly drops all formalities in the final boss fight and fucking tries to CQC you into a bloody pulp with his bare fists if you killed D-Dog or something
pf exchange is so useless. by the time you have enough points to get a single A++ staff member from that every volunteer is A++
So before GZ was cut and made its own thing, where do you think it would have been in TPP? My bet is (end game spoilers) [sp]That it would have been the truth mission, combined with like a fast forwarded version of some of the hospital scene. I say this because it was quite obvious that the hospital mission was pretty much finalized by the first trailer for the game, and GZ wouldn't really work as an intro to the game if the hospital scene was in it, and vice versa. So to me at least, the most obvious place it would have been would be at the end. Showing what really happened at Mother Base 9 years prior[/sp]
So before GZ was cut, where do you think it would have been in TPP?
Almost definitely after Phantom Limbs- we get a rather detailed flashback after beating that mission, where it's so obvious that Ground Zeroes was just gonna be there as a reason why we were in a hospital at the start.
Kojima always said that Ground Zeroes was supposed to be a prologue, even before it was announced that Ground Zeroes was supposed to be a separate. I think it's safe to say that it always was supposed to be the "Virtuous Mission" of MGSV.

I really wish Skullface and BB met face to face in GZ just so in TPP, Skullface takes off his mask and BB is fucking surprised that Skullface and the mysterious masked man are the same person
or just remake the entire first Metal Gear as the epilogue. Though do you really want to see Solid Snake kill D-Dog?
Maybe Snake didn't kill DD, but meeting him is what made him want to go to Alaska and be a musher after MG2
D-Dog does not appear anywhere except in MGSV- [sp]all those dogs in MG1 though? Let's just say D-Dog was very busy.[/sp]
you seem to be very focused on snake killing d-dog
I just want to see snake fighting big boss in 1080p And as big boss lays dying the camera positions itself as an homage to Naked Snake and [sp]The Boss[/sp] I want this in my life I want Kiefer to do the speech about raising children into the fires of battle I want Snake to fistfight his best friend in a minefield I want to see Solid become the cold bitter lonely bastard he is with the detail of modern MGS I would've legitimately traded MGSV for full remakes /retcon festivals of MG1/2. I know remakes aren't Kojima thing and he wanted to tell a new story but peace walker ended on a decent note for Big Boss, he felt pretty warmongering I feel like there's still a huge portion of MGS fans who don't know the MSX ones. There's such cool plot elements that could be brought out
damn str8 cuz solid snake is the worst
Said the one who hates D-walker
Didn't Kojima consider finding a studio for a FOX Engine remake of MGS1? I mean, The Twin Snakes is kind of a mess but if they actually reworked the environments, AI and gameplay you could probably revitalize the game without needing to fuck with everything. Then again, MGS4 continuity.. But at this point Kojima's on the way out so it really doesn't matter anymore I guess. As it stands, though, Metal Gear 1 and 2 remakes would be higher up on my priority list if such a thing were to ever happen.
damn str8 cuz solid snake is the worst
Solid has and always will be the objectively best Snake in the franchise This isn't even up for debate
I want a fox engine remake of Metal Gear 2 so that we can finally see that scene where Snake knocks the guy strangling him off using guided rockets in 1080p.
[sp]solid > liquid > Solidus > venom > naked Naked Snake was a coward who sold out his friends and was willing to commit the same crimes he seceded from the US for He also got killed by a lighter and the genetically inferior of his sons [/sp]
[sp]solid is the only snake who wasn't killed That's all that matters Fuck solid killed all the other snakes besides Solidus [/sp]
