so does anyone know what the motiveless killing esrb tag thing was for in 5?
Baby Mantis is all that comes to mind for me
man, it's pretty hilarious reading and hearing reactions to mgsv in ohn's stream.
How do you unlock grenade launcher underbarrels? I only have grips and shotguns.
How do you unlock grenade launcher underbarrels? I only have grips and shotguns.
they should unlock when you research the grenade launchers. is the barrel you're using compatible with all underbarrel attachments?
How do you unlock grenade launcher underbarrels? I only have grips and shotguns.
Have you developed the grenade launchers themselves?
I got it. I had to develop the fakel one up one tier to get it. Thought it would work with just the initial fakel.
The other single-shot grenade launcher type will also get its own underbarrel, but at that point it's aesthetic choice since they're identical in functionality.
i wish kojima could somehow write out liquids death so he could be the antagonist going against snake/raiden the whole time
Just make it turn out he didn't really die like the 5 other times he should've
WHY IS THERE NO DEFENSE AGAINST STUN GRENADES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :hairpull: I mean you'd think hey let's look AWAY from the goddamn bright shiny flash maybe it'll make you take less damage! HAHA NO HERE EAT YOUR BULLSHIT DEFENDERS USING NOTHING BUT STUN GRENADES AND WIN LITERALLY 100% OF THE TIME

At least the box will break after a few extra shots now. MGO2 box might as well have been made out of steel. [editline]29th September 2015[/editline] And you move like a tank with mgsv box.
Potential endgame spoilers. I still wish there were better parts for a Patriot, but this will have to do. My [sp]avatar[/sp] is the best I can make it for now, not sure what else to really do besides grind out the side-ops and shit and i'm losing my mind with some of them unless I cheese them from the start. [editline]29th September 2015[/editline]
i sincerely hope the box doesn't function like the sp box in mgo, if it blocks bullets that will be the end of mgo
Well the MGO trailer last year implied that a Walker Gear's gatling gun could turn a box user to shreds, but simultaneously that was a year ago and who knows by this point
This is a really specific problem with D-dog that probably doesn't effect most people, but I find it really annoying when I try to fuck with a guard who sees my box moving by leaving it behind, then D-Dog just barrels right through it and breaks it.
didnt the mgo2 box let players take damage like normal but since the game was so centered around headshots it may as well have been armor? [editline]29th September 2015[/editline] tbh a lot of that trailer looked really bullshotted, i.e. the stabbing animation for the walker hijack is nothing like that now, and the kicking down of the shield bearers doesn't seem like an actual ingame move as far as i can tell, as well as a lot of other small details
I'm pretty sure Kojima had some sort of system in place to easily make the trailers and gameplay demos transition to special cutscenes just for them. Like when they were doing the FOB Invasion demo and suddenly another Snake shoots a rocket down from above, or the MGO3 trailer having plenty of cinematic bits. Almost like Source Film Maker but reserved for the devs and FOX Engine.
You could still headshot a person in a box in MGO2. The only issue was their head was obscured; however, after a few encounters, it was easy to guess where the head is located inside the box. It really didn't feel like such a big issue like you guys are saying. It almost made headshotting people easier, since their head and chest were forward facing and grouped close together.
It would be just about impossible to hit their head due to all the lag. I loved mgo2 to death, but if you didn't live near a big city or on the west/east coast you were pretty shit out of luck to have good matches.

And I live near LA.
Just make it turn out he didn't really die like the 5 other times he should've
He was kept in a nanomachine coma until MGR 2 Then the game is about two blonde whackjob cyborgs fighting each other
well after taking the Rizzler's advice, it turns out that mission is embarassingly easy, in my defense I seriously thought they put you up there, and I never would have looked down there for cracks to crawl up. I got lucky [sp]on the subsistence mission involving fultoning out the general and his tank platoon, they all got stuck in a corner so I snuck up fulton'd them out, and mission 50 went really smoothly as well.[/sp] the Uragan is an amazing handgun. Though uh, are there more missions? Do I need to do more sideops stuff?
Just make it turn out he didn't really die like the 5 other times he should've
"Fox.." "DIE" Then Snake and Meryl leave with the snowmobile, camera pans back to Liquid's body and then... "YOU ALL BOUGHT IT!" game ends.

Build shit, improve the base, listen to yellow cassette tapes, and do side-ops to pass the time until the next story progression occurs. Mission 46, [sp]the final story mission of the game,[/sp] won't appear with a single bit of fanfare or announcement or anything.

Also was it ever explained why [sp]the runaway former mother base soliders run around like tards?[/sp] It's funny, but I still don't know why they do it
wooo, fully upgraded my mother base :toot:
Yeah I did that was well, I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything massive. The game sort of acts like they don't exist besides as staff and as means to [sp]continue the Paz sidequest[/sp]

You know I heard there was a MGS themed restaurant for a limited time in Paris or something Looked it up and was disappointed to see it was normal food instead of this: Those animal codec calls from 3 was great listening material too..
Check out Mr. Inspection Man and his S rank skills. :v:
MGS3 had the best CODEC calls, there was a conversation for everything. And a lot of funny, non-exposition calls [editline]29th September 2015[/editline] I'd spend ages swapping between weapons calling SIGINT. "Got yourself an AK huh"
[sp]I find it hilarious how all of skullface's hundreds of infantry, armored vehicles, and helicopters do jack shit against not!Rex and all die in a single burst of gunfire, and then you singlehandedly kill it using those same tanks it massacred a minute before[/sp]
I feel like having codecs in MGSV would both be really annoying for the player, and the developer. I'd hate to get interrupted randomly during free roam and setting up triggers for those kinds of codecs would be hard. I actually really like the cassette tape system. It isn't like Peace Walker where you have to look at a menu while listening, you can do it on the move! Plus the cassettes are overall way more informative and relevant than the Peace Walker ones. Unlike talking about Dinosaurs with Chico or some shit you actually learn about a lot more stuff that enhances the plot.
