One time when I was farming heroism there I managed to skip the mamba cutscene by throwing a decoy up there and detonating it right under them :v:
Or just tranq him when he is outside his little room.

It is even one of the objectives too.
I'm pretty sure they don't, it's a different lady each time you play the Black Mamba mission anyway.
Black Mamba is my way to go, just put on your favorite [sp]Cyborg Ninja[/sp] outfit, and find the lady prisoner whose almost always a high ranked in Combat.. (Also always a gunman).
Then you just go and shoot White Mamba with an air shotgun and a Riot SMG for two minutes.
But I don't want to alarm anyone.
I'm trying to be super sneaky.
Tbh. I also don't get how people still get point and heroism at all when fighting soldiers with guns all the time.
12.7mm is a very sneaky round. They'll never see you if you shoot them through a wall.
Is anyone else going for all S ranks just speed assassinating all the targets? It seems like speedrunning missions is the easiest way for an S rank.
For example, missions like Red Brass or The War Economy, just speed sneak to where your target is and Leon The Professional your way out, as long as the enemy never goes to combat alert you're pretty much garunteed an S for some of them

You can make up for the alert penalty with headshots, I didn't stealth a single mission when I went back to S rank them

But do the bonus objectives add towards your percentage complete? I've seen a lot of people make a big deal about getting them all
Has anyone on PC been experiencing frequent disconnects when you go to defend your/a supporter's FOB? It happens frequently when I'm infiltrating and a defender appears as well.

:toot: I completely forgot about the additional scene that comes after this.

Yes, but you don't have to do them on the same run.

you can just extract the prisoner and then cancel the mission by exfiltrating by chopper and keep the prisoner.
Yeah, I threw her under a tank :v:
Oh geez, thanks for reminding me that i accidentaly put D Horse and a prisoner on the road when suddenly a tank went full speed and ran over them.

Mission tasks are a part of 100% completion.
V Has Come To is an amazing track. Best music in the game IMO. I like it even better than Sins of the Father.
[sp]It makes me sad because there are so many really goddamn awesome things about this game but after beating it you know the bad outweighs the good in many regards. :( [/sp]

First time that happened I pretty much thought 'Oh great there is random encounters with skulls on your mother base?'

Yeah but then I can't hose down Eli with rubber bullets. What's the point?
My MGS:V has crashed within 5 minutes of starting 3 times in a row...????? Why?

'Return' or 'Allegiance Defined' are my favourites. When they play you know shit's getting real.

I like A Phantom Pain and a lot of the cassette tracks Forssell did because they really capture the big 80s action movie feel that the game was secretly going for. I wish there was an alternate soundtrack that made it like a Carpenter movie.

the point is putting "mother" into "mother base"
How to get good at FOB ? I swear I'm the worst at that.

I had no idea this conversation was even in the game until TBFP brought it up
With the side objectives, do you have to complete the rest of the mission for them to properly register or can you just trigger a checkpoint and go back to ACC from the menu?

Have to complete the missions, from experience.
Any idea how to make 100% same face as Boss has in avatar editor?

Fuck Big Boss, does anyone know how to make Solid Snake ?
How to get good at FOB ? I swear I'm the worst at that.
While practicing command platform infiltration I've noticed that patrol routes are static on the core platfrom. If you go visit your own FOB and just like try to find a route to the door that seems the safest to you, you should be able to replicate it when infiltrating someone's FOB.
Also when you've just exited out of the wormhole, you have something like a "grace" period where your character is kinda transparent. During that period you're invisible to enemies and they wont be bothered by your sprint noises, try getting a feel with how far you can get while it's in effect.
And when going trough the additional platfroms, stick to the side catwalks as much as you can, they usually only ever have 1 camera and 1 guy covering them.

Just treat it like a total stealth or european extreme play through. Be fast, be smart and always look for weakness. And guard combat ranks make a huge difference when it comes to detection range. If the enemy is spotted in a bad spot then his infiltration is a failure.
Squares camo is also very helpful, and is actually better than the sneaking suit in my experience. The main benefit of being invisible to NVG is ruined by the fact your weapons show up and the fact the intel team basically pinpoints your position for the defender.
