High level lethal security teams are actually very difficult to brute force your way through, especially long range, it becomes a clusterfuck of snipers, mortars, AA guns and endless reinforcements. I think you're more likely to run out of ammo or time than be able to smash through a 4/4 BDU set on long range full of A++ Of course, sneaking through is always the best option but that's kind of the point
Autosnipers can easily wipe out an FOB security team with ammo to spare. You're fucked with anything else though.
Something about Big Boss just suddenly going [sp]BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH[/sp] makes this less sad if you really do fuck up the first mission somehow, and more "what were the voice directors smoking" [editline]30th September 2015[/editline] i swear that's his ground zeroes scream extended
That would've been way more effective without the scream. The scream just ruins it and makes it unintentionally funny.

Having BB just stay completely quiet, or just utter a little "no..." would of been way, way more impactful than an out of place scream.
Big BAAAAAAAHss
birthday spoilers [sp]the quiet scene afterwards was so cool, I had no idea it was there[/sp]

Kojima has been talking about how Kiefer could bring a really big range of emotions with just his facial expressions and dramatic voice, yet.... in almost every cutscene he's fucking silent with is infamous thousand-yard stare. I just don't understand.
it kinda had that sorta
not really, he fumbled with his hospital prosthetic for like 5 seconds then gets the big bionic hand just dumped on the table then suddenly he knows how to use it. was expecting a cutscene of him bulking up since he'd been lying on a fuckin bed for 9 years
you can just extract the prisoner and then cancel the mission by exfiltrating by chopper and keep the prisoner.
Even faster: max sprint speed and/ or cyborg suit, run to the prisoner and extract (or have D-dog do it for even faster times) and then run back out of the base and keep running until 'prisoner has arrived at mother base ' pops up. Then restart and do it again.
nah man i still consider this the most cannon ending http://imgur.com/qUHXy5n
But that's what I was talking about :v: Someone start a petition to make it canon
kojima actually saved my grade. Today in my history seminar the professor asked us how information is architecturally flawed and i instantly thought of MGS 2 and the patriots creating context of information. I pointed out that context (within history) was largely euro-centric and was a method of conquering other peoples by controlling the thoughts that lay behind the history. I also, following the same information pointed out that there really is no difference between primary and secondary sources, and also that besides that, it's another form of segregation of people.
professor, I need scissors
Sorry but if Hayter was in this game giving his best Peace Walker voice it would be hard to take anything seriously. KKKKKHHaZ its mEEE
IMO this isnt a problem of Hayter but of the voice director. It's up for him to decide in which way to deliver the voice lines, if its suitable to the "narrative". Maybe I'm a bit delusional about voice acting in general, but thats what I think.

That low moral cutscene shows how badass he can be too.
MGSV needed a training montage between Snake and Ocelot set during the two week trip to Afghanistan.
It needed this.
I know it's kinda taboo thinking about konami continuing the MGS franchise after KojiPros departure. However, being the ultimate cash cow, how would you react if Konami decided to remake every in house MG-title in the fox engine? Even mg1 and mg2. Would you buy them?

They probably let a lot slip that they should have rerecorded.

I'd rather see Metal Gear Solid VI, or 6 whatever.
I've made a PS4 Community group for MGS and MGSV Online. Add me (Departing) or Taggart250 and you should see the community in the friends community section. (As more members join you should be able to find the group easier, as you won't have to add as many people) Or reply to this post with your PSN name. The community allows you to easily group up with people from FP without having to add them. And you can see whos playing MGS currently.

If they manage to make a Metal Gear game that's actually good and retains the charm, that's fucking great. I'd love that game whether Kojima happened to work on it or not. It's just kind of unlikely that'll happen.
